Proof of Concept

Summary:

Nyelv finds himself frustrated with Suga for a multitude of petty reasons.

Upon confronting him, he finds himself getting pulled into an experiment he never thought he would partake in, exploring just what exactly a Granute and a human can do together.

Work Text:

It didn’t take much for Nyelv to understand why human happiness was such a valuable resource for Dark Treats.

As far as he could tell, existing as a human was a myriad of frustrations. Happiness could only be rare.

When Dente taught him about the Mimic Keys, he quickly understood that merely taking on the appearance of a human being wouldn’t be enough for proper infiltration. The user would experience a near-complete emulation of being their own prey. It would change the user’s body inside and out, giving them access to body parts and nerves that were otherwise foreign. It would help them understand how to make humans happy, and thus increase their value as spice. The only exception would be the unconcealable Gavv, ensuring the user wouldn’t forget who they were or what they were after.

It all made sense, as a concept. But that didn’t change the fact that Nyelv loathed using it.

Softened flesh. Defanged mouth.

Unfamiliar sensations.

It wasn’t his body. It wasn’t him.

And yet, Lango kept demanding that the disguises be used during work.

It was impractical. Nyelv would even dare to say it was pointless.

But he couldn’t say he didn’t understand.

He and his siblings were neglected by their father all their lives. And that was just how things were in the best of times. It didn’t matter how hard they worked, or how smart or skilled they were. They simply weren’t enough, and they all came to understand that by an early age. Nyelv was no exception, though Dente’s attention filled the void somewhat.

It was a human woman who captivated their father’s attention, and then the abomination she gave birth to soon held priority over all. That thing had a Gavv, but otherwise looked all human. Bouche Stomach’s youngest child would be his pride, even if he was powerless and had no place in this world

The bastard soon grabbed Dente’s attention too, as he attempted to modify his odd red Gavv so it could be as functional as the rest of the family’s. The efforts were fruitless, or so they seemed to be at the time. Dente soon disappeared into the human world, for a research trip to find ways to further modify the Red Gavv. That trip apparently would never end.

Nyelv was doubly abandoned, for humans. For the Red Gavv.

His siblings preferred to masquerade as human even when it was completely unnecessary, just to pretend to be what their father desired even if he was no longer here to show them favor. But to Nyelv, he was just wearing the uncomfortable skin of what took away his father and his great-uncle—his mentor. Humanity robbed him of the closest thing he had to a real bond.

Not that he ever even needed such a real bond. Why would he? Even if the time under Dente’s tutelage was rather enjoyable, it was nothing more than a means of learning. He didn’t need that old man, or anyone else. He was like his elder brother and sister, strong and untouchable. Meanwhile the twins relished their bond because they were the weakest, relying on each other for validation of their existence.

Nyelv would have no such weakness.

He built his armor in his cleverness, in always being ten steps ahead. As his family pursued that Red Gavv, he was the one orchestrating everything while Lango sat on his ass. He wasn’t just the brains of this operation anymore; he was the whole driving force, the cog that kept everything turning. And he didn’t need any praise from his siblings to know that; if anything, the less they knew of his actions, the better.

They especially couldn’t know just how he came this far, that he wasn’t all on his own…let alone the fact that it was a human who helped him along.

How Nyelv came to meet Kenzo Suga was not a particularly remarkable story. What mattered was that they were both instrumental to each other’s research of the other’s species, and in their joint efforts of creating more “Kamen Riders.”

It was nice to be with someone with equal intellect. They had the same hunger for knowledge, and they fed each other accordingly. It was through him that Nyelv learned that Dente’s modifications for the Red Gavv had worked all along; it merely needed to consume human snacks to function and produce minions.

Human snacks were bizarre, grotesque little things, Nyelv soon discovered as Suga introduced them to him. None of them were suitable for a Granute’s palate. They were too soft or too brittle; too sweet or too salty. Even so, he had pushed through in trying them as he searched for a basis for a Kamen Rider of his own making. Suga watched, grinning with a glint of bemusement as Nyelv grimaced at every new confection.

No one had ever looked at Nyelv like that before. When he noticed that tender gaze, somehow the human snacks tasted a little better to him.

Despite such moments, Nyelv thought he held the reigns in their relationship. Everything was on his terms; he would only visit Suga and give him information when he felt it suited him. He thought with that much control, he could keep the human under his thumb. This one wouldn’t get away.

But as Suga ogled over Laage9, he started to second guess.

He had been impressed with the Vrastum Gear and the little pudding-themed minion for barely a proper moment when the only other Granute in the room took his full attention.

“It’s my first time seeing a live Granute up close without any danger!” he said, teeming with eagerness.

Nyelv felt something tighten within him. “Even though I too, am a living Granute?” he asked.

Suga just paused before snapping his fingers at him. “So you are,” he said, as if he genuinely needed that whole beat of silence to recall that fact. “But my brain recognizes you just as one of my research buddies, above all else.”

So Suga had been seeing him as a human? All this time? It was hard to view that as anything other than an insult.

But what happened after that felt like a harder blow.

Nyelv could only watch in bitter silence as Suga uncovered Laage9’s Gavv, touching it and messing around with the Mimic Key.

He had told Suga many things about Granutes from a biology standpoint. But he had neglected to tell him much about their society, outside of Stomach Inc.’s existence and what they did with humans. So of course, Suga wouldn’t know what touching someone else’s Gavv meant outside of unavoidable moments such as medical exams. And sure, it wasn’t anything too invasive and was under a scientific setting, but the abruptness of it all and Suga’s all too apparent enjoyment made it bother Nyelv more than he wanted to admit.

He wanted Laage9 to speak up and tell him to stop. But he just stood there and let it happen.

Well, whatever. It was all miniscule in the grand scheme of things.

Once Kamen Rider Vram killed Valen and the Red Gavv, Nyelv could put it all behind him and never have a reason to see Suga again.

But then Laage9 left to join forces with the Red Gavv.

Abandoned yet again.

Nyelv was just about out of patience for everyone. Part timers kept dying. Laage9 betrayed him. His siblings hadn’t done anything worthwhile; if anything, they just held everything back. The Red Gavv and Valen were still out there running amok. And Suga…

Suga…

Nyelv was the most frustrated with Suga, somehow.

That moment of watching him touch Laage9’s Gavv kept replaying in his mind. The longer the memory lingered, the more it pissed him off.

And it seemed that Suga was concentrating more efforts on improving Valen, for some reason. What was so great about him that made him so worthy of such efforts? He was only special because Suga made him special; otherwise, he was just an ordinary human.

An ordinary Granute and an ordinary human were able to hold a vice grip on Suga’s attention.

And then there was Nyelv, standing off in the sidelines.

Not good enough as a Granute. Not good enough as a human.

Nyelv Stomach simply wasn’t enough.

But why should he care if he was enough for anyone, anyway? Especially Suga. That man was just a means to an end for him; a mere tool acquired purely for necessity.

He didn’t need to be enough for anyone. He was content with how things were.

Then why wouldn’t Suga leave his thoughts?

He paced his lab, trying to sort himself out and rid himself of this annoying affliction.

As he mulled over the feelings that came with thinking of Suga, an odd warmth suddenly bloomed in his heart.

This burning feeling in his chest that travelled up to his face and spread…Was this something exclusive to humans? Why did he have to experience humanity at such an intimate level for the sake of a disguise?

He removed his Mimic Key, just barely resisting the urge to throw it at the wall. The relief of being in his true form kept him at bay…At least until he realized that feeling hadn’t gone away. So it wasn’t just a human thing…

“Damn it,” he murmured. His grip on the Key tightened; he was just about to crush the device in his hand—

“Nyelv.”

Nyelv froze. Of course Lango just had to stop by right then.

He stood there, the expression on his human face as blank as ever. It was quite fascinating, how much more expressive a human’s face could be, yet Lango’s seemed to always be the same no matter what form he took.

“You know the policy,” he said simply.

Begrudgingly, Nyelv inserted his Key again, flashing a placid smile as he transformed. “Apologies, Lango-niisan.”

With a grunt, Lango walked away.

I should kill him one day, Nyelv suddenly thought.

A much more welcome thought than anything relating to Suga, in all honesty.

The sight of his brother reminded him of how he hated the opulence of his human disguise. All of his siblings’ disguises were like that, as was his own admittedly. Yet another pointless thing, to fit the mold of conventional attraction for humans when they were truly the furthest thing from that.

Suga wasn’t really like that either. He was somewhat handsome for a human, but he didn’t preen himself like Nyelv had observed most others do. He dwelled in his messy lab, barely putting himself together some days. His hands were a bit weathered and calloused, worn down from constant work with substances humanity was never supposed to even learn of.

Nyelv wondered how those hands would feel against his Gavv…

…What was this feeling now?

A different kind of warmth within him. A throbbing between his legs.

It only clicked what that meant when he felt his Gavv drooling excessively from behind his shirt.

Granutes lacked the sexual organs that humans had. Gavvs more or less fulfilled the same role, as far as reproduction capabilities and sensitivity was concerned, along with also functioning as a proper mouth when it came to larger and harder foods.

That appendage…it was one of the many inconveniences that came with being human.

Sure enough, it was making its presence known. He hid his face in his hands, feeling the warmth of his blushing cheeks against them.

Suga-san…This is all your fault.

He simply ignored it, focusing on his work and hoping it would go away. It eventually did, but every moment before then, it was uncomfortable and distracting.

He knew it would have been better to stop and stimulate himself to rid himself of the feeling. But he wouldn’t be stooping to such a level. How grotesque.

After a few days of stewing over things, Nyelv decided to pay Suga a visit. It had been long enough, and perhaps there were some worthwhile updates in the time that had passed.

Using the interdimensional doors, he stepped into the lab. It seemed Suga was about to enter whatever room that door was supposed to lead into, given from how he stumbled back a bit.

“Hello, Suga-san,” Nyelv said as he shut the door behind him, already feeling exasperated.

“Oh, Nyelv-kun! It’s been a while.” Suga straightened out, smiling at him.

Nyelv stepped passed him. He set down his bag, containing the usual trinkets he brought over—namely newly harvested glands from part timers who attempted to quit, along with a few other things. He looked around the state of the lab; it seemed a little messier than usual, with some trash bags strewn about. “I’ve just been busy cleaning up.”

“Ah, makes sense. Vram-kun did backstab you after all.”

“…It happens.” Nyelv clenched a fist behind his back; that was one of the last things he needed to be reminded of right now. Then he noticed that Suga was holding some items, presumably some form of human snacks. “What are those for?”

“Oh, I started developing artificial minions like you did,” Suga explained. “For my next upgrade for Valen.”

“Hm.” Yet another thing Nyelv didn’t need to be reminded of. He turned away from him, feigning interest in the basket of snacks on the desk instead. “You’re awfully fond of him. I don’t see the appeal.”

“Really? I think he’s got the potential to be made into a savior.”

Suga was shaping a human to save humanity from the Granute. Nyelv had just lost the Granute he shaped to keep humanity in the Granute’s clutches.

They had rather paradoxical desires. And yet here they were, together.

Together…but for how much longer?

Nyelv felt sick all of a sudden, as he gazed down at Suga’s scattered papers and odd readings on his computer screen. He barely registered anything it said, blinded by the fog of his emotions.

“Nyelv-kun~” Suga stepped up to him, setting the chocolates down and poking his side. “I know you’re cranky about Vram-kun—”

“I think this should be our last encounter, Suga-san.”

“…Eh?”

“There’s nothing more you need from me, and I’m certain there’s nothing more I need from you.” Nyelv started to make his way back to the door.

“Now hold on!” Suga grabbed Nyelv’s arm.

Nyelv froze up. Why was he stopping him?

Suga dragged him over to the couch, pulling him down to the seat. Nyelv could have easily gotten up and walked away, but he suddenly felt trapped.

Especially as their gazes locked, and Suga was looking at him with a softness that had never come his way before.

“What’s gotten into you, Nyelv-kun?” he asked. “You can tell me~ We’re friends, aren’t we?”

Nyelv had always been good at keeping secrets. Hiding things from his older siblings came naturally to him, whilst the twins always got caught when they tried to get away with their failures. Just as easily, Nyelv never let anything slip to Dente about what a dreadful existence his father molded for everyone living in his household.

But now, caged in the affectionate gaze of a human, Nyelv’s most vulnerable thoughts tumbled freely from his lips. “…Do you value me as a Granute, Suga-san? Or as a human?

Suga cocked a brow. “Does that really matter?”

“Yes, it does. Immensely so. Because I am not a human, and I am not one of your ‘research buddies.’ I am a Granute, I have always been a Granute, and I will always be a Granute!” Nyelv was surprised by the sound of his own voice. He’d never sounded this angry before…Oh, he’d certainly felt this angry before, but this was the first time came out in any tangible form, in front of another being to boot.

“Ah, that thing I said,” Suga slowly nodded along, casual as ever. “I didn’t mean anything bad by it—”

“You essentially told me to my face you don’t see me as me.”

“Well, this is the only you I get to see. You only ever come around dressed up as a human.” Suga reached and batted his finger at Nyelv’s thin braid as if it were a toy. “And you’ve never shown me what you really look like, or that second mouth of yours for that matter.”

Maybe that was true. Maybe Nyelv had stuck to the “my existence is more valuable when I present as a human” mindset when he first met Suga. But still…

Nyelv looked off to the side, exhaling through his nose. All of his frustration felt so ridiculous all of a sudden. How could he let himself act so foolishly over such petty feelings? And why wasn’t the embarrassment enough to finally chase those petty feelings away?

Suga’s hand was still hovering near his face. “You’re still bothered by something,” he said, his fingertip tapping against the side of his glasses before gliding along his cheek. “Tell me.”

“…You touched his Gavv,” Nyelv whispered, fully facing away to dodge more sickeningly sweet touches. “You touched. His Gavv.”

“Who? Vram-kun’s?” Suga’s lips pursed, seemingly in recollection. “Was there anything wrong about that?”

Nyelv felt like he was about to vomit, but he managed to get the awkward truth out. “Outside of clinical settings, touching another Granute’s Gavv is…a very intimate gesture. It’s typically something that only happens between lovers.”

“Lovers…?” Suga went silent as his eyes widened slightly. “…Hm! Well, I guess I should’ve figured as much, based on what you’ve taught me about Gavvs before. I suppose I owe Vram-kun an apology if I ever see him again.”

“He didn’t seem to care much about it,” Nyelv murmured.

“Hmm…Then let me give you one, since you seem to care quite a bit.” Suga smirked, putting a hand on Nyelv’s shoulder. “My bad, Nyelv-kun~ Should I touch your Gavv too, to make up for it?”

Nyelv recoiled away, feeling heat blast through him. “T-That’s—!”

“Oho, don’t worry~ Just a joke.” Suga patted him again before looking down a little. “Juuust a joke.”

…Was it really a joke? Or rather, did it have to be?

Nyelv shifted in his seat. That false suggestion put ideas in his head and stirred up feelings he wanted gone. Unfortunately, he couldn’t just ignore them like he would in his own lab. He was stuck here with the man who was to blame for all of this, and something had to be done.

He tried not to seem too interested as he spoke up. “Suga-san…What human concept would you say equates to touching another’s Gavv?”

Suga looked at him, slightly surprised. “Hmmm, if it’s a gesture for lovers then my best guess would be maybe…a kiss?”

“Kiss…” Nyelv had heard of those, from his research. A Granute’s upper mouth wasn’t suited for such a touch…Technically, a “kiss” of sorts could happen between two Gavvs, but that was definitely something much more intimate than what they were discussing now.

The lab fell into an awkward silence. Nyelv’s frustrating feelings and now general curiosity had come together in a storm of urges that were suddenly thrashing him from the inside. He tried to ignore the unfamiliar ache, but…

“Should I kiss you?” Suga suddenly asked. “Just to see if that’s right? Test the hypothesis and all that.”

Nyelv had half a mind to just get up and walk away. Go home and never step foot in the human world again, lest he be reminded that such a ridiculous proposal had been presented to him.

But instead, he looked Suga in the eye and just nodded, suddenly finding his mouth too dry to speak.

Suga leaned in and pecked Nyelv’s lips. Short, like a flicker of nothing…yet so much at the same time. At least to Nyelv, who never experienced such a thing before.

He was grateful when Suga did it again, for longer this time. His lips were chapped but Nyelv didn’t mind. That was the sort of thing he liked about Suga anyway…

He did his best to kiss back, a bit awkward at first but soon settled into it. It was easy to get lost in it, in melding with another being in such a simple way. He even let out a moan, a sound that felt unfamiliar as it quivered through his throat into Suga’s mouth. Suga responded with his own, his hand suddenly making itself at home against Nyelv’s cheek. Rough yet warm, it was a touch Nyelv couldn’t help but nuzzle against.

He was breathless as he reluctantly pulled away. Everything felt warm now, but soft too. It didn’t bother him the way it did before…He actually liked it.

Suga’s face was flushed, his gaze clouded. He smiled. “Wasn’t so bad, right?”

“I suppose not.” Nyelv smiled back. “Do it again. For more evidence.”

“Of course~”

Suga dove back into it, but Nyelv found this kiss was a bit different. It was deeper, with Suga’s tongue soon slipping into his mouth. It was a development that Nyelv adapted to quickly, letting his own tongue slip in. Every movement became warmer, then wetter. His breath hitched as Suga suddenly sucked on his bottom lip, practically nipping at it.

They pulled away again, though the absence of Suga’s mouth against his own cracked Nyelv’s resolve in ways he wasn’t sure he could truly recover from.

“Kisses aren’t as gentle as I expected,” he said as he caught his breath.

“Well, they can be a lot of things, depending on how you wanna do it.” Suga tilted his head, his hand moving down from Nyelv’s cheek to his mouth, his index finger caressing his bottom lip.

That simple touch was all it took to finally fully disarm Nyelv. He let the burning feelings in his cheek burn away the fragments. He let out a soft sigh as he looked down a bit. His gaze stayed focused on Suga, going more downward—

“What’s wrong now, Nyelv-kun?” Suga’s hand was suddenly under Nyelv’s chin, tilting his head up enough so their eyes met again. “You look like you still want something else.”

“…Touch my Gavv.” Nyelv fully meant those words as a command, coming from the one who held the most power between the two of them. Unfortunately, it came out sounding more like a delicate plea.

“Oh? Is that what you want?” Suga’s smirk grew.

“It’s not that I want it. We simply need more proof, is all.” Though Nyelv’s tone was straight forward and distant, he knew he must have looked like a blushing fool. “Could you touch my Gavv gently? And then not so gently?”

“It would be my pleasure.”

Nyelv was stiffly still as Suga reached for his clothes, adjusting them just enough for his Gavv to be exposed. His Mimicdeviser and Mimic Key were in their minimized and invisible mode, so neither device would get in the way during what was about to transpire. The Gavv was drooling a bit, showing just how worked up all the kissing had made him, and he silently accepted the fact that Suga would likely soon deduce what that meant.

“Heh…Never thought you’d let me do something like this, Nyelv-kun~” With a wide smile and a slightly trembling hand, Suga brushed his fingers against the top lip of the Gavv.

Nyelv shut his eyes and let out another soft sigh. The calloused skin against the soft, wet flesh felt electric to him

“It’s funny, you know,” Suga said, his casual tone contrasting his eager expression. “For you to show this much emotion. Never thought I’d see you get mad~ I’m learning so much about you today, Nyelv-kun~”

“Well, I can’t say the same for you~” Nyelv’s eyes opened, forcing his own smirk. “I already have you read down to the last letter, Suga-san. I could already tell your interest in Granutes crossed into shameful territory.”

“Oh? And that’s why you got jealous of Vram-kun~”

“I didn’t say that.”

“I think it’s plenty implied.” Suga’s finger trailed down a bit, now touching one of the teeth, then sliding over to the gums.

Ah… ” Nyelv shuddered.

Suga chuckled. “Sensitive, eh?”

“Not any more than the average,” Nyelv hissed. “You, on the other hand, are touching far longer than another Granute would.”

“Oh, am I? Should I stop then?”

“…No.”

“Good. I still have to do my not-so-gentle touch, after all~” Suga scooted up closer, moving his hand down to the bottom lip instead. “But I’ll be gentle for a little longer.”

His fingers glided along the lip, then weaving against the gums, now treading to where the saliva was pooling. Nyelv panted, trying to keep himself from squirming. He had never been touched in such a way before. He never intended to get close enough with anyone to allow it to happen. And now here he was…

Suga kept talking as his hand kept moving. “You really impressed me when we met, you know. Before then, I figured you Granutes were all just a bunch of savage beasts. But you? You’re on my level. You keep my mind racing. No human’s ever done that, you know…You Granutes make good company.”

“And you still aim to eliminate us?”

“Eh, something like that. Let’s not sweat the small stuff right now.”

Before he could respond, Nyelv uncontrollably moaned as Suga’s fingers found the Gavv’s tongue. It reflexively licked as much of the hand as it could.

Suga then pulled his hand back. He slightly winced before he stuck two fingers into his mouth, sucking them. He pulled them out with a soft pop, his gaze lidded.

“It burns a bit,” he said. His voice was suddenly softer and lower than usual. “You mentioned before…Gavvs have acidic saliva.”

Nyelv nodded, “That’s right. But it’s only slightly acidic; you won’t be harmed.”

“Good to know.” Suga’s hand plunged back into the Gavv, touching the bottom gums and the tongue right away.

Nyelv whimpered, unprepared for the sudden onslaught of sensations that fell upon him. So this was Suga’s not-so-gentle touching; not necessarily rougher, but utterly merciless. His movements were so fast and calculated, and Nyelv couldn’t do anything but sit there and take it. The longer it lasted, the more it buried his sense of shame.

Suga suddenly leaned in closer, his cheeks tinted a bit pink and his gaze utterly tantalizing. “Nyelv-kun,” his voice once again came out abnormally soft, “if I had a Gavv, would you be touching it now?”

“Yes,” the answer came out as naturally as a breath. “Without a doubt. I would touch you…just like this.”

He pulled Suga closer by his tie, drinking in his breath as he sloppily kissed him. Their lips and tongues were all over each other, the sound of their hot breaths and quiet moans filling the lab. Nyelv did his best to emulate the rough kissing, nipping at Suga’s bottom lip and tugging at it a bit, meeting no resistance as he did so.

But he was forced to let go, as a jolt of pleasure sent him jerking back, his back and neck arching. In turn, Suga only brought himself close, hooking his free arm around Nyelv’s body as the other reached deeper into the Gavv, soaking his skin and his sleeve in the saliva.

“You’re drooling quite a lot down there,” he said. “You must be getting really excited~” He licked a long, slow stripe against Nyelv’s neck. “My Nyelv-kun~”

“I- I am not…yours,” Nyelv could barely get the words out. His throat was caught in the tendrils of his desire, only allowing moans and whines to pass through.

Suga let out a low chuckle, kissing along Nyelv’s jawline before licking his cheek, just as tantalizingly slow as before. All the while, he kept stroking over the moist flesh, sweeping over the whole area inside the Gavv until—

“Ah— hah…” Nyelv blossomed and withered in an instant as that hand brushed against a spot deep inside. His neck arched back, a high-pitched cry escaping him. “Right there, right there, mmnn please please…”

“Heh, so needy~” Suga nuzzled the neck as more of it exposed, his voice vibrating against the wet skin.

The saliva was practically pouring out of the Gavv, drenching both bodies and their clothes. Nyelv’s body couldn’t stop writhing, too moved by the force of a human’s touch in the most sensitive spot of his body. Sweat rolled down his face and tears stung his eyes, threatening to flow free. Pitiful sounds kept spilling from him, but it was useless to hold them back. His whole Gavv throbbed as if it were going to burst or fall off. It was a sensation he had never felt before, but he knew his own biology well enough to know what it meant.

“S-Suga-san, I…I’m about to—”

“Shh, don’t tell me.” Suga pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth. “Just show me. Show me what happens when I keep touching.”

Nyelv panted desperately, his eyes squeezing shut as he felt something shatter and melt inside him. The molten glass of that shattered part of him poured over him, baptizing him and allowing him to feel euphoria that had never graced him before, and he might never feel again after this encounter. A breathy, shaking cry was ripped from him as saliva splashed from his Gavv.

He collapsed, letting Suga gather him in his arms. He panted heavily, as if he was barely clinging to life.

“So, that was an orgasm?” Suga asked nonchalantly. “From your Gavv?”

“Yes,” Nyelv’s voice came out raspy. “It was.”

“Hmm…You had a bit of an ejaculation of sorts here too, from the looks of it. But there’s still…that.”

That? That what—

…The bulge in Nyelv’s pants looked all but ready to burst out.

He could have felt embarrassed, but he had already shown Suga the most physically vulnerable a Granute could be, so this barely felt like anything more.

Besides, one glace over at Suga showed that he was in the same boat. The concealed erection had been damped by the Gavv’s saliva, but otherwise stood unbothered.

“You are aware you currently have that as well, correct?” Nyelv asked.

“Oh, yeah. Definitely aware.”

“Are you not ashamed?”

“Why would I be? It’s just us here, isn’t it?”

“…Hm.” Nyelv found himself unable to look away from it. The sight made his own erection twitch in its confines.

“You can touch it if you’d like,” Suga said.

Nyelv’s hand cautiously made its way over to the strained length. He simply ran his fingers over it, and that was enough to get a relieved sigh from Suga. He made note of the shape, as that was all he really had access to when it was still clothed.

He wanted to see it. To truly touch it.

Since Suga made such a mess of him, he’d ought to make a mess of him in return.

He scooted himself closer, pressing his erection up to Suga’s. He lightly grinded against it, softly hissing from the unfamiliar sensation. It was similar to the Gavv stimulation, but not quite. Perhaps it was from his disconnect with the organ, making the feeling a bit distant. Still, it was present enough to keep him rubbing against Suga, who moaned as his hips bucked in turn.

Nyelv found himself enjoying the moment more as the friction prolonged, lubricated as his Gavv began drooling again. But he knew that there was a way to make this better for the both of them.

“There’s a practice between Granute lovers,” he said, “of their two Gavvs coming together, and then doing what’s necessary to create offspring. I presume there’s something similar for humans? With what you have down there.”

“Well, humans like to get a little creative with this sort of thing,” Suga chuckled. “And maybe we can too…It’s probably the first time a human and a Granute have done anything like this, after all.”

“…So it is.” With those words, Nyelv started to reach for Suga’s shirt.

The vest and bolo tie came off, discarded on the floor. Nyelv slowly unbuttoned the shirt, partially to tease but also for the slightest bit of apprehension still hanging over him. It faded away with every bit of skin he uncovered, as Suga showed no signs of resistance, only gazing at him invitingly as he lay back onto the couch.

Once the last button was undone, Nyelv pulled the shirt open, exposing Suga’s upper body. He ran his hands along his sides, suddenly feeling a bit lost in where exactly he was meant to touch now. After all, Suga had no Gavv…

Mentally reviewing his past human studies, Nyelv recalled the chest tended to be a sensitive area. He shifted his focus to that area, thumbing over his nipples as he resumed humping against his erection. Suga’s eyes flutter shut at the touch, emitting a low groan.

Nyelv smirked. So far so good.

He pushed things further, reaching down to Suga’s waist, unfastening his pants and briefs just enough to expose his cock. He watched him shiver as the cool air of the lab made contact with the sensitive skin. He ran his hand over it, just to get a feel of the texture. He kept on touching, observing a shining bead of fluid forming at the small slit at the tip. He brought his thumb to it, pressing into that slit.

Suga moaned, fucking up into Nyelv’s hand. “More…M-More…”

“Oh, is this not enough? I should have figured as much. You really are desperate for a Granute’s touch.” Nyelv pulled his hand away and leaned forward, grinning as their gazes met, quickly pressing a feather-light kiss to Suga’s cheek. “My Suga-san~”

Before Suga could respond, Nyelv unleashed the tongue from his Gavv. It licked down from Suga’s balls all the way up to his tip in a slow stroke.

“Oh, fuck…!” Suga’s whole body twisted, his eyes briefly rolling back.

“Oh, my. Such language.” Nyelv cocked a brow, his Gavv already licking again. “Does it still burn?”

“It does… God, it does…”

Suga’s resolve was crumbling into nothing with every lick from the Gavv. Nyelv savored the sight of it, though he was also just as aware of his own dissolving; the broad licks were stimulating his Gavv’s tongue more than he anticipated. With every stroke, he craved more, for his Gavv to feel even more than just this. Saliva was pooling again, spilling out. The desperate pants from both of them crafted a humid mist of their desires.

“N-Nyelv,” Suga whimpered before long. “It’s hot.”

“It certainly is.” Nyelv hooked his fingers into the waistline of Suga’s pants. “Let’s take this off. All of it.”

And so they did. Every article of clothing was shed from both of them, forgotten on the floor as skin pressed against skin. Nyelv finally appreciated the softness of human flesh as Suga pressed against him, his dripping cock pushing into his Gavv. The saliva-coated tongue coiled around it, thouroughly stimulating every inch of sensitive skin. Suga’s hips were moving, surely seeking more stimulation, making his leg rub against Nyelv’s now exposed erection. Their mouths kept meeting in rushed, open-mouth kisses, each one ending just to initiate another, growing more intense than the last as they moaned against each other.

Nyelv found himself suddenly despairing over Suga’s humanity. If only he were a Granute, so they could stimulate each other equally with their Gavvs. Nyelv could be equally drenched in saliva and feel a tongue on his otherwise pointless phallus.

Alas. What was transpiring right then was between a Granute and a human.

But that wasn’t so bad, when they were the first ones to entertain such a concept. And Nyelv really had no room to complain when he was feeling so much pleasure all at once. Suga’s cock was stimulating his Gavv, his thigh was stimulating his own cock, and his moans were stimulating something inside him that he couldn’t identify. It all melded together in such a grotesque yet beautiful sensation Nyelv was certain no Granute had ever felt before. And when it ended, his memory of it would be the only proof it ever happened.

He knew it would be over before too long. He felt the pressure building up in his Gavv and in his dick. His body moved in rhythm with Suga’s, seeking as much sensation as he could in the last moments before it all vanished like vapor.

“Nyelv, N-Nyelv,” Suga moaned. “I’m s-so close…!”

Nyelv savored the way his name was spoken, dripping with need. Yet another feeling that would slip through his fingers any moment now. He clung to it, tighter than anything he had ever grasped before.

“Suga,” he panted, holding Suga shamefully close. “Suga-san, please, please…”

Please don’t abandon me too…

For that small shard of time, he didn’t have to worry about Suga leaving him. If anything, Suga only pressed himself closer, his dick entirely disappearing into the Gavv as the tongue grinded harder against the underside of his balls. His hips sporadically bucked even more into Gavv, the heat of his body flaring so much Nyelv could practically felt him melting into him.

Nyelv!” Suga pathetically cried out as he came into Nyelv’s Gavv, his cock spurting with every jerk of his hips.

The hot fluid landing in his Gavv and the last bit of friction against his own dick sent Nyelv over the edge mere seconds after.

It hit his Gavv first, that same pleasure blooming within as the drool splashed out. But then his dick felt that same pleasure, as it twitched and spurted out warm whiteness. Two stars were bursting within him, and the gravity of their force was tearing him into two, pulling him apart by the chains of Granute and human ecstasy. And at that same moment, a scream escaped him like never before, burning his throat as his vocal cords pushed themselves to a new limit. His vision became bleary, which was a bit of a shame; he had wanted to get a better glimpse of Suga’s face as he climaxed.

And then, it all went white.

He wasn’t out for very long; he gathered as much when he came to and he was still on that same couch, still drenched in fresh saliva and semen.

And Suga was still there.

Well, of course he was there. This was his lab.

But the fact he was still there, his warm body draped over Nyelv’s, his face buried against his neck, his lips tenderly pressing against his skin.

“So, you can have two orgasms at once…when you take this form,” he whispered, barely audible. “Must be nice…~”

Nyelv didn’t know how to react to that information, or to the realization of all he had just done…all he let himself do with Suga.

It didn’t really matter to him anymore, whether Suga was human or not. What mattered was that he allowed himself to do this sort of thing with anyone at all, especially someone he was never meant to get close with. He engaged in touches that left his heart hammering in his chest and not wanting to let go of the naked body cradled against his own.

…His own? This wasn’t his body. This was still his disguise. Suga still hadn’t seen the real him. Because the real him wasn’t enough to show him, or anyone else.

He wanted to be acknowledged as a Granute, yet he still hadn’t been able to reveal that part of himself, in front of the person he let touch him in such shameful ways.

He couldn’t even be that in his own home world, around his own siblings…

All the while, Suga was still kissing along Nyelv’s neck, his hand stroking up and down along his body at the same time. Why was he touching him like this? There was no reason to. They were certainly quite intimate just moments ago, but these prolonging touches almost made it feel like they were actual lovers.

But they weren’t lovers. They couldn’t be lovers.

Unless…

…Nyelv should have valued all the warmth he had been feeling lately while he could, as his blood suddenly ran ice cold.

Suga didn’t seem to notice. There was a dreamy look in his eye, not quite present in the moment. “Y’know, everything’s still burning a bit,” he mused, a small smile gracing his lips. “In a good way.” His hand travelled down Nyelv’s abdomen, reaching the Gavv and petting the lip—

Nyelv smacked that hand away. He didn’t even mean to; it was pure reflex.

“Ah.” Suga’s head lifted, his eyes suddenly clear. “Sorry. Should have asked.”

That’s not it, Nyelv wanted to say, but his mouth opened only for no words to come out. Only a shaking gasp that barely bypassed some sort of blockage that burrowed into his throat. He could hardly even breathe with it there, he realized.

Suga suddenly pulled away from him, sitting up. “Nyelv-kun? What’s wrong?” he asked. He was as casual as ever, but with the slightest bit of concern.

It was only then that Nyelv felt his tears on his cheeks. But why were they there?

Why was he here?

The mere thought only pushed more tears out.

Why did he stay long enough to let this happen? Why did he put himself in the position to just get hurt again? It was going to happen. He just knew it; that’s how everything always ended. That’s why he couldn’t get close to anyone, and yet here he was now.

A tremor rocked his body.

He pushed Suga off of him, trying to get up from the couch, only to stumble down into the small space between it and the coffee table. He ducked his head down, his hands clutching into his hair. Staccato breaths ran back and forth from him, refusing to stay put long enough for him to calm down.

He couldn’t calm down. He couldn’t breathe.

“Hey.” Nonchalant as ever, Suga got down from the couch and onto the floor next to him. He reached to put his hand on his shoulder—

Nyelv smacked the hand away again.

“Don’t touch me,” he managed to say. His voice came out so warbled to the point he couldn’t recognize it as his own.

“Alright, alright. No touching.” Suga pulled his hand away and scooted away slightly. “Try this, then. Breath in through your nose for four seconds.”

That sounded like an impossible task, but Nyelv managed to do so, albeit shaking.

“Now hold it for seven seconds.”

Yet another daunting task. The air in his lungs burned and begged to escape, but he managed to keep it captive.

“And then let it out through your mouth. Not all at once; nice n’ slow.”

He exhaled, as slow as he could. The smallest bit of relief graced him. He glanced over at Suga.

He was smiling and gazing at him tenderly, just as he did when he watched him try pudding for the first time. “Good. Keep doing that, ‘til you feel okay again.”

Was Nyelv ever okay in the first place?

Regardless, he continued the breathing pattern. It took a few cycles, but he was able to breathe normally again before too long, though the drying tears still clung to his cheeks, and there was still much he was confused about.

“Feeling better?” Suga asked.

“I believe so,” Nyelv replied, his voice still shaky. “What just happened to me?”

“A panic attack, I figured. Looks like Granutes can get those too.”

“I…I’ve never…”

“No shame in it. It can’t be helped when those things happen. I know from experience.”

“You do?”

“Oh, sure. Though it’s been a number of years since I’ve had one.” Suga stood up with a grunt.  “Anyway, we’d ought to get cleaned up. I’ve got guests that’ll probably be showing up in a little while.”

“…Guests?” Nyelv watched him take a few steps. “Valen?”

Suga stopped in place, snapping his fingers. “Ah—No, no, no, it’s just some young guys I know. Got nothing to do with, y’know.” He waved his hand nonchalantly. “What we have going on. Totally different thing.”

“…I see.” Nyelv elected not to pry. He had enough discoveries for one day.

“Mhm. So, wanna hit the shower together? That’ll make it go by faster.”

“I suppose if that’s most efficient.” Nyelv slowly stood up, taking a few steps forward.

But the sound of bare human feet against the floor made him stop.

In theory, there were two naked men in this laboratory.

But Nyelv wasn’t truly naked. He hadn’t been at all, for all this time. But he wanted to be, more than anything.

And his asshole brother wasn’t there to stop him.

“Suga-san.”

“Hm?”

“I want to show you something first.”

The Mimicdeviser suddenly appeared on his body. A hesitant hand reached for the Mimic Key.

He pulled it out.

Soft human skin hardened into scales. Razor sharp fangs comfortably pricked the inside of his mouth.

There he stood, as a living Granute, now truly bare for Suga to see.

Suga’s eyes widened. His mouth hung open. “Oh my god,” he whispered, though it sounded more like a gasp.  He stepped forward to Nyelv, looking him up and down. “I— You…Can I…?”

Nyelv gave a slight nod. “You may touch me.”

Human hands were instantly all over Granute skin, touching every part could be reached. Nyelv watched, paying attention to Suga’s reactions. There wasn’t the same gleeful fascination he had when he touched Laage9. There was something else. Thoughtful. Deeper.

Whatever it was, it was still shining through as Suga caressed the top lip of the Gavv. “You are a beautiful specimen, Nyelv-kun,” he said with the slightest quiver in his voice.

Nyelv had nothing to say to that. Tears threatened to fall once more, but he smiled through them.

He was just so happy to be seen.

Notes:

wow so that. was Something

ngl this was supposed to be something relatively short and simple but it ended up as the Freakiest thing i've ever written and i'm honestly quite proud of it

i presume every drop of trust nyelv has in suga is gonna be Destroyed as soon as he learns about bitter gavv and bake :3 depending on how that revelation goes in the show, there might be a follow up of sorts to this. but aside from that, i have some other ideas for these two, as well as for some sachika/lakia stories and for an AU i've been developing for a little bit.

i want to say while i love gavv a lot i am currently overwhelmingly hyperfixated on geats so i might churn something out for that before long. i also have other projects going on for my main fandoms though...i'm just kind of all over the place atm aghhhh

I REALLY WANT TO WRITE MORE GAVV STUFF THOUGH so hopefully i'll see yall again before too long <3

UPDATE: SEQUEL TIME
