Chapter Text
An adult skeleton, wearing a white coat, walks through the streets while using an umbrella to avoid the rain and holding a plastic bag full of food with his other hand.
Gaster: (Tch. Of all the times it had to rain. . . Why couldn't it happen during work?)
Gaster: (No matter. I've got all the necessities for dinner for the kids. Let's hope that-)
Before Gaster goes past the alleyway, a sound catches his attention.
Gaster: Huh? What was that sound?
Gaster hesitates for a little but follows the sound from the alleyway nearby.
Gaster: (I hope the kids forgives me for this, especially Comic.)
Gaster checked around the alleyway to find where the sound came from, but nobody came.
Gaster: Great. I just only wasted my time in here. Well, best to go back home before-
Before Gaster leaves the alleyway, he notices a cardboard box, only to find a two-tailed fox, sleeping inside it.
Gaster: (What the-! Why's there a fox in here!?)
Gaster looks around to see anyone else nearby but to no avail.
Gaster: (Sigh. I can't believe I'm about to do this.)
Gaster: (Sorry, Comic. But I hope you really forgive me for this.)
The scene changes to two very young skeletons at Gaster's house. The older one is wearing a white sweatshirt with black pants and the younger one is wearing casual clothes.
Papyrus: Comic, what's Dad taking so long?
Sans: I dunno, bro. But whatever it is about, he's better got some explaining to do. I'm not great at waiting this out.
While the two waits it out for their father to come back home, Gaster enters the house as he carries the young fox with one arm and opens the door with the other hand.
Sans: There you are, Da. . . d?
Gaster: I. . . I can explain, Comic.
Papyrus: Dad, who's that?
Gaster lays the fox down at the green couch.
Gaster: I found him inside a cardboard box. Seems like he was abandoned by his parents, so I had no choice but to bring him in.
Sans: Dad, what are we gonna do?
Gaster: Well, I'm afraid to do this, but I have no choice.
Gaster: Comic, Aster, meet your new brother.
Sans: . . . What? You're joking, right?
Gaster: I'm afraid not, Comic. But it's the right thing to do for him.
Papyrus: Well, if we're having a second brother, our friend should have a name! I suggest we name him Tails since he had two unlike other foxes who had one?
Sans: Hey, how about Miles? It kinda sticks with our last name.
Papyrus: Huh? I don't get it?
Gaster: He made a pun about speed with our family name. Miles Prower, in other words, Miles Per Hour.
Papyrus: Comic!!! You can't just name our brother like that!
Sans: What? At least it works? And hey, it's a one-time chance I'm willing to take.
Gaster: Settle down, Aster. How about this? We'll use both of your ideas for the fox's full name.
Sans: I like the idea, Dad.
Papyrus: As much as I don't want one of Comic's puns to be an official full name, I agree with his idea and mine being there as well!
Gaster: Well, it's indeed official. Now, say hello to your new brother, Miles Tails Prower.
