Chapter Text
The Teen Titans were having a lovely day. It was fun, relaxing, and overall a great day. We just had to jinx it didn’t we?
“Robin, what’s the situation?” Beast boy said as he met up with the group
“Looks like someone reported suspicious activity at the field on 23rd st” Robin replied(is that even a thing? 23rd st?)
“Should we go down and see what is the up?” Star fire asked
“Yes, let’s be careful and stay hidden though.” He replied
“I’ll get the T-car!” Cyborg said as he walked away “Cyborg! Wait up!” Beast boy said “Race ya!” Cyborg ran off “Your on! Cy!”
“Childish as always, good too know things don’t chat around here.” Raven said
“We are wasting time, let’s go.” Robin said
They ran after cyborg and beast boy to the T-car with the exception of Robin going to his motorcycle. They had a long day ahead.

“Robin, what’s the plan?” Cyborg asked through the com link
“Star fire and Raven will look from above, staying out of sight. Beast boy will turn into a snake and cover the ground with Cyborg. I will cover the outer field. Everyone know their jobs?” Robin asked
A string of yes’s and yeah’s followed from robin’s teammates.
“Titans GO!” Robin said the famous catch phrase and everyone spread out.
Beast boy was sliding around in the form of a snake. His animal instincts were going crazy, something was wrong here. The field had very green grass and some nice flowers. It was mostly empty thought. A small hill was in the middle as well.
Cyborg was using night vision and following Beast boy. So far he hadn’t seen anything, but he was very suspicious of everything. Beast boy had been very cautious too so he wasn’t the only one who was worried.
Starfire was flying above the left side of the field. It was very calming, the stars were shining so brightly. It was nights like theses that she loved. The stars and moon provided little light but she still didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.
Raven was levitating above the right side of the field. She really hoped this mission would be easy, she wasn’t in the mood to have a fight. It was strangely quiet though, no animals or bugs make sounds. Bad sign
Robin was running around the outer layer of the field. Nothing was happening. No motions or movements. His eyes were darting around but nothing was there. Something weird was happening here. It was bad too
“Titian’s, meet up at the center of the field.” Robin said
“Sure thing dude.” Beast boy said
“Me and Starfire are on our way.” Raven said
Beast boy and cyborg were the first to arrive, followed by Raven and Starfire. Robin being the last to arrive.
“Alright, something is wro-“ Robin was cut off by a shake of the ground. “Woah?! What’s happening!?” He said
“Why is the ground shaking? Is this normal for earth?” Starfire asked
“Dudes, I think it’s just an earthquake!” Beast boy said
Areas around them slide out into the ground. Out came Slade robots? There were a lot, and they had swords!
“Titans get ready for a fight!” Robin said as he pulled a batarang and his weapon, a pole.
The charged each other. Beast boy turned into an elephant, Starfire used her bolts, Raven used her magic, cyborg used his blasters, Robin used weapons.
The Slade robots weren’t strong but when they killed one, 3 more showed up. “We can’t keep this up forever!” Cyborg said. “Agreed, let’s try to find the source” Robin replied
“Ow!” Beats boy said. He fell back, he got back up quickly and got back into the fight.
“You okay beast boy?” Raven asked
“Yeah, just a scratch!”
“Hey! That is not the nice!” Starfire said, she got cut on her face.
“Robin we are out numbered, we keep getting overloaded and injured!” Cyborg said
“Yeah I know- ow!” The robot went straight for his leg, knocking him off balance.
Beast boy noticed and ran over, shielding Robin so he could recover as a lion.
“Thanks beast boy.” Robin said as he got up.
The robots were shoving them into the backs of each other. The titans were in a circle back to back. All with multiple injuries of their own.
“Guys, I think they are letting up.” Raven said as she realized she wasn’t seen as many robots as before.
They all looked around and started attacking again. Raven looked over to beast boy just in time to see…
“BEAST BOY! BEHIND YOU!” She yelled
Beast boy turned around, he got to see the blade of the robot go straight through his chest.
Raven tried to fly over but she was still occupied. Cyborg, Starfire, and Robin looked over to see beast boy fall over, still with a bloody blade though his chest.
“BEAST BO-“ Cyborg tried to yell but was pushed back.
“Hurry up and deal with these! I will take beast boy back! Meet at the tower once done!” Robin said, he had the least robots to deal with so he ran straight towards beast boy.
He quickly grabbed him, minding his injuries, and ran towards his motorcycle. He heard hits and punches being thrown and exchanged. That wasn’t his focus though. His focus was beast boy and trying not to drop him on his injured leg.
Robin saw the motorcycle up ahead and sped up. He quickly hopped on with beast boy in his lap and started the motor. He went as fast as he could, he had to make it.
The tower wasn’t too far from the field thankfully, but it felt like an eternity. The giant T was in view, he could make it.

Starfire finished off her group of robots and went to help Cyborg, Raven looked like she had it under control.
“How dare you stupid robots hurt the friend beast boy!” She yelled and attacked.
Cyborgs group was much larger than hers, around 10-15 robots. They make quick of them, they were a good team.
“Guys, a little help here?” Raven asked
Cyborg and Starfire turned around and ran over. The robots were dust when they were done.
Then, reality settled in. Beast boy could die.
“Beast boy will be okay? right..?” Starfire asked
“I don’t know star.” Cyborg said “we should hurry back though.”
They started running towards the tower.

Robin was thankful, it wasn’t bad. It didn’t go all the way through and didn’t hit anything vital. But he was losing blood.
He removed the sword and immediately tried to stop the bleeding. He mapped out the things he needed. A needle, thread, disinfectant, and ravens healing power.
The other Titian’s busted through through the door.
“Where is he?” Cyborg and Starfire asked at the same time
“Raven, come here and hold this down.” She walked over and held down on the rag, trying to stop the bleeding
Robin walked away to get the materials “Cyborg, come help me with this.” He gestured toward Beast Boy
He quickly ran over and waited for Robin to get the stuff. Robin got all the supplies and ran over. “Raven, go wait outside. Save your energy, we might need your healing power.” He said
“What? Why can’t I stay here?” She asked
“Go Raven!” He said as he started removing the suit
She was mad but couldn’t let her emotions get control of her, she walked out.
When Robin got the suit off, they were shocked. Beast boy had multiple scars all over his chest.
“Oh my god.” Cyborg said
“Focus! We will worry about this later!” Robin said, they got to work disinfecting the wound. They started stitching the cut.

After what felt like and eternity, Robin called Raven in to help.
“So he’s okay- oh.” She looked down at all his scars.
“He’s still out cold so, we will worry about this later.” Cyborg gestured at the scars
“okay.” She said as she raised her hands and a green glow came from them “im not sure how much this will help but it should do something.”
“Anything is good.” Robin said
Starfire walked in with water and food. “Is he okay?” She asked
“He will be okay star.” Cyborg said
