Chapter Text
Cosmo walked into the kitchen, his wooly slippers lightly knocking against the wooden floor. His eyes wandered to a sticky note on the counter, handwriting neat yet hastily wrote.
'Sorry Cos! I had to run out to Toonsda cause we ran out of flour, and Astro the other toons mentioned how nice pancakes would be! I'll be back before 11am!!',
Cosmo paused reading to glance up at the clock. 10:02, he continued reading.
'~Your best friend, Sprout!' The end of the note contained a heart drawing, and Cosmo took it off.
Cosmo let out a knowing sigh, eyes wandering back to a particular part of the message. He didn't remember what, or how, Sprout fell heads over heels for Astro 10 years ago, all Cosmo knew was it was tiring.
Thanks to Sprout, Cosmo basically knew everything about Astro. His favourite type of cookie, (surprisingly chewy,), his face turning bright blue once flustered. The list goes on and on.
Frankly, Cosmo was glad Sprout was in love. After all, they knew each other their entire life. However their entire life was Sprout yapping about how he would treat Astro better then his 'ugly' cousin. (Cosmo was 100% certain Dandy did not hold any romantic interest at all, and just likes teasing his older cousin.)
All in all. Cosmo was tired. 10 years... of Sprout talking nonstop... some might say Sprout was Alexander Hamilton in disguise with the way he talked about Astro like he was running out of time.
Sprout sneezed.
