Sora stood naked in front of the full length gilded mirror, her lover in the bed behind him. It was shocking what a short time away from her husband could do to her. She reached out to touch the mirror. Her appearance was still a surprise to her. No longer was she frail and sick, no bags under her eyes, bruises from the ivs and needles, her hair fell down to her waist in lush waves. There was a healthy glow about her, she traced the marks her lover left behind, her cheeks red, her blue eyes dilated and her nipples hard in the warm room. She was safe as were her children.
Sora didn't notice him leave the bed until his tall figure was behind her his head bent to press a kiss between her shoulder blades, his hand parting her hair. His stub rests on her Hip. His smoky scent washed over her. He was a bit shorter than her husband; his hair was dark and slicked back, unlike judges' wild blonde mane.
“Staring at yourself in the mirror? I might get jealous of all the attention it's recovering.” Crocodile teased Sora in his rough deep voice. His voice sent shudders up her spine. “You my dear are a vision, Boa Hancock herself can not compare.”
“Oh stop it you.” Sora blushed even more, she watched as her flush traveled down from her face towards her chest.
“Whatever you wish, my jewel. Let's get you ready to meet a king. I promise Cobra is nothing like that bastard.” Crocodile kissed the top of the head before he backed away. Sora turned to watch him.
She loved just looking at him, his broad back so willing to carry her burdens or allow her children to climb him like a jungle gym. Sora could see the scratches she had left behind after last night. She walked over to him and lay her head against him, she attempted to wrap her arms around his large body soaking in the heat he enetied from his skin.
“Pick something in red.” Sora recasted. “I don't want anything pastel.” She shuddered at the pale hospital gowns she had worn for so long. “If I'm to stand by your side I must look the part.”
Sora was well aware of his plans, many people would ask her why she would stand by while Sir Crocodile planned to unearth an ancient weapon destroying the country of Alabasta in the possess. Well it would be the first carnage she had witnessed in her lifetime. Perhaps she had grown numb over the years. Crocodile was kind to her and her children, he did wish to turn her children into obedient emotionless killing machines. There were no excipients performed on her or her children. What more could she possibly ask for?
“As you wish, my jewel. Try this one.” He held a gorgeous red strapless gown. “With a white fur coat no one would be able to take their eyes off of you.”
Sora took the dress with a smile.
