Chapter Text
Twins’ Day
Disclaimer: :3 I don’t own Friends or it’s characters. Enjoy, though the idea is from an older fanfic. Though it’s from an anime.
In just a few hours a set of twins will turn eighteen. They just couldn’t wait for their special day. They love their parents so much. But, the biggest obstacle was telling them they’d rather spend their day with their friends. Including Emma, whom is visiting for the day specifically.
Eating breakfast they’ll look to each other and at their parents, especially Monica. How excited she was with the many special food that’ll be prepared during the day.
“Honey, you don’t have to overdo it every year.” Chandler whispers in her ear. The look he’d get from her wasn’t a look he’d like to see. She sighed patting his shoulders. “It’s their big day, honey. The big 1-8, don’t you remember when you turned 18?”
Chandler didn’t like to be reminded of the day exactly. “No.. we talked about it before, Mon.”
She folds her arms resting her head on his chest. “Good point. It was the same for my own birthdays each year.”
“Wasn’t there a few birthdays Ross reminded them,” he lifted her chin. “I don’t like when your day isn’t forgotten, especially by them. And I put my foot alongside Ross reminding them.”
Monica chuckles kissing his lips. She was glad not being those parents. She’ll look at the twins whom had confused faces.
“Happy birthday, my angels.” She hugged them tightly.
A few grunts coming out of them responding to her hug, and a few sighs they’ll just let out. “Don’t hurt them Mon.” Chandler says. He’d go behind her pulling her away from them. “They’re very appreciative of what you’ve done for them.”
“You’ve done so too. A wonderful father.” She’d pull away from her babies looking at her other baby. “How lucky we have loving children.”
Erica and Jack sighed. They’ll always be babied, understandable that their parents mean no harm. Though in their late teens their feelings needed to be spoken about.
Mom and dad,” Erica faces them. “We need to talk about today.”
“Yes, mom. It’s very important too.” Jack added.
Chandler sighed widening his eyes. He knew where the conversation was going with. He’ll sit Monica down squeezing her shoulders. “Go on Er, or Jacky would like to share with us.”
Erica gets up from the chair holding her mom’s hand. “Mom we want to spend today with our friends.”
“Yes mom. We already told them we’ll celebrate our birthday with them.”
Monica gives a sad face changing it with a fake smile. How they knew her very well knowing how her reaction will turn out. “Wow my babies.” She wasn’t aware prickling of tears were coming down. Chandler hugged her tightly from behind. Her body starts shaking as she’ll just let her tears fall.
“Mom we don’t ever mean to make you cry.” Erics whispers. “We’re growing up and already close to being adults.”
“Sis, we have a few more once we’re twenty one.” He rubbed his forehead.
Monica’s body relaxed resting her head on Chandler’s chest. He kisses top of her head, “We talked when it comes to a specific day that they wouldn’t want their parents. Overbearing parents.”
Monica knew he had a point. She’ll look to them wiping her tears. Erica goes up to her hugging and kissing her. Jack joined in and as did Chandler. The Bing family were going through a lot of changes.
“Okay my angels.” A sad voice echoed looking up at them, caressing their sweet faces. “Have a good time with them tonight.”
Erica and Jack high five each other. Chandler could just chuckle by their silliness. He looks at Monica helping her off the chair. “We taught them well, Mon. They’re growing up real fast.”
“I know, Monica took their hands gently squeezing it. “But could we have a nice lunch before going out tonight?”
The Bing twins looked at each other nodding their heads. “We’d like that mama.”
Chandler clapped his hands looking at their wall clock. It was nearing the time too. “Do you need help Mon?”
“Nah, I was thinking of Er, would you like to?”
“Mom, I’d love to.” She takes her mom’s hand. “We can share stories about you and dad’s time before we came along.” She whispers.
“Mom, she’ll bring up her latest crush too.” Jack throws at his sister. “A lot of guys have eyes on her, too.”
“I don’t blame them. Isn’t your sister beautiful?” Jack scoffed rolling his eyes. He looks at his father grinning.
“Dad I’ll share a few secrets about those guys too.”
Monica and Chandler looked at each other and back at the twins. They were arguing as all siblings do. More so of teenage crushes either of the two have.
The end.
