Chapter Text

Soup was waiting for Norm in his new office, nervously fidgeting with their ears. He was supposed to get there around 1 PM, according to his schedule.

It was getting pretty close to their anniversary, and although Soupers couldn't quite remember the exact date, they still wanted to do something nice for him.

"Hopefully he won't mind if I borrow this.." They said, opening the desk drawer and grabbing a pen. Earlier, Soup had bought some flowers (with Phonegod knows who's money) for Norm, so now they had to write a note, since that's what people do when they buy someone flowers, right?

One problem though.

"Ah drat. I can't fucking write."

They decided to place the bouquet to the side of a bit, thinking of solutions, leaving Norm's pen with some very noticeable bite marks in the process. "Maybe I can just draw something? Norm likes it when I doodle stuff for him."

With some scrap paper, they drafted a few ideas, nothing too fancy though. They were pretty sure Norm would appreciate the gift being tame, but still thoughtful.

Checking the clock, it was about 12:40, give or take, so they had around 20 minutes to finish up. Soupers settled on sketching out some sunflowers and doodled some hearts in the corners of the paper to finish it up. As they placed the pen back, they couldn't help but cringe at how badly they messed up the plastic with their gnawing.

After setting everything up, all that was left was to wait for Norm to come in.
