Work Text:
Hayden was fed up with 1x, this whole situation was the reason he had lost anyone close to him. Not to mention a healthy sleep schedule since the odd timing of dates that 1x would drag him to. He didn’t know where he was walking to exactly, just walking. Hayden didn’t even know where to go exactly, him and Chance weren’t on good terms nor was the rest of the crew so the cabin was a no go.
He could go to the villian side of the island but 1x was over there, as well as Gasharpoon, and that would probably not be the greatest idea either. The middle of nowhere would work, he could be left alone and not be seen by either side.
“Hey kid, where are you heading to?” a familiar voice called out in the silence of the night. Hayden looked over to see Noli. The hacker standing somewhat behind the survivor. He didn’t even notice that Noli was even behind him.
“What do you want, Noli?” Hayden immediately questioned, he didn’t want to talk to anyone exactly. Hell, he was still ticked off from the fight. The hacker stared at him for a moment, taking in the person in front of him.
“I thought to ask what ticked you off but it’s hard not to know, 1x is a mess back at camp” Noli starts to explain, “but you’re the reason for that. Not bad that you finally got the balls to stand up for yourself.” Hayden was a bit surprised by what Noli was saying but he didn’t really let it show.
“So what are you wanting exactly then? Or did you want to rub in my face how I messed up?” The brown haired questioned, resting one of his hands on his gun holster.
Noli smiled at him as the hacker got closer. “Well, I wanted to make the offer for you to help me with my plan. It would be a good deal for you, especially since you seem like you have no where to go” the hacker offered, extending his left hand.
Hayden stared at Noli, slowly working the deal in his head. It sounded too good to be true but what other choice did he have? He was basically a lone wolf at the moment. “What do I get out of this?” He managed to muster out. He moved his hand away from the holster as well, leaving it by his side.
“Revenge and somewhere to stay” Noli told Hayden “so, what do you say?”
“Fine.” Hayden muttered before he shook Noli’s left hand with his right hand.
“I’m glad I get to work with you, Hayden.” The hacker expressed as he seemed pleased with this situation.
