Jungkook is adorable.
Yoongi, Namjoon, Jimin, Jin, Taehyung, and Hoseok are highly aware of this. He was a heartthrob now in the eyes of the media, sure, but that didn’t change the fact that he was so fucking cute.
He’d always been cute---everyone had agreed on the description after first meeting him. Jungkook was shy, but excitable, and he had a certain glint in his eyes that swiveled many heads towards his direction. There was something oddly innocent about everything he did (that is, when he wasn’t Mr. Spread Legs), and everyone in the group had a soft spot for him.
Hoseok pointed out one day that everyone in the ARMY had a soft spot for Jungkook. He was simply that precious.
They were proud of their maknae. He worked hard (he wasn’t called the Golden Maknae for nothing) and never once took anything for granted. Jungkook had always been humble, and it was obvious (through all his little actions) that he loved his hyungs with all his heart.
The fans adored him. They adored him. Even if their baby was practically an adult now, there was something so utterly boyish about Jungkook’s demeanor and attitude towards everything. He put 110% effort in everything he did, even though he hated some things he had to do. When Jungkook did covers of girl group dances, he always had this look of concentration on his face, and everyone agreed that his determination was just so damn adorable.
Jungkook, who squawked and freaked out around women;
Jungkook, who once took showers and ate at night so as to not get in the way of his hyungs;
Jungkook, who hid from a camera using his snapback because he was shy;
Jungkook, who tied Jin’s shoes and helped open Jin’s water bottle when the latter’s finger was injured;
Jungkook, who slyly brought Hoseok’s missing shoe back to him after it was accidentally dislodged from the dancer’s foot during a live performance;
Jungkook, who massaged Namjoon’s aching shoulders during a fansign;
Jungkook, who lifted Yoongi up so that he would appear in a photo;
Jungkook, who stroked Hoseok’s hair so that he could sleep easier;
Jungkook, who claimed that he really liked Jimin during the “confessions”, which was the reason why he teased him so much;
Jungkook, who mock slow-danced with Taehyung and enjoyed it;
Jungkook, who practically sat on Jin’s lap during the track races;
Jungkook, who had never attempted to shop online until very recently;
Jungkook, who played with rocks during the I NEED U/PROLOGUE/RUN era, going so far as to add an umbrella to the mix;
Jungkook, who had cut arms but bore a golden, fluffy heart;
Jungkook, whose voice was positively heavenly, and could probably lull an insomniac to sleep;
Jungkook, whose bunny teeth could make anyone’s heart melt into fine goo;
Jungkook, who was so imperfectly perfect.
Anyone who thought otherwise, and anyone who so much as dared to hurt their baby would be met with thousands of very angry ARMYs and six positively furious and protective hyungs.

After the events of the first couple episodes of the Flower Crew, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok were ready to make Cypher pt.4, Jin was on the phone with Jungkook, making sure that their baby was alright (and gently assuring him that he would eat Jungkook’s burgers, screw those other assholes [with the exception of Kim Minseok, bless him]), and Jimin and Taehyung were ready to cap a bitch.
The ARMYs weren’t so far behind either.
Jungkook was precious, and making him scared and uncomfortable was a fucking crime.
