Chapter Text
Yuki sat on couch, in his house, he felt sad and overwhelmingly stressed. After all, he heard, that his team, mostly main people in it, don't put much hope into him, like he has no racing future. It was tearing him apart, his racing career was everything for him, he was building it, since he was 4 years old.
He never felt, like he was good enough and this season was just disaster after disaster for him. He felt, that he was there as some sort of representative for Honda, the engine manufacturer and translator and that when partnership ends, they kick him out or move him to another racing series. Another thing, that really made his heart break was the fact, that he was constantly rejected, because he was short and nobody wanted him, even though he had good personality and was rich. He sat there, looking into screen of his TV, playing games and eating unhealthy food, he ordered. It was only way, he felt happy, yet, the server he joined was so toxic, that he just turned the game off, lied down on the couch and sobbed, until he fell asleep.
Next morning, he turned on console and played, food really not tasting well for him and when he was bored from games, he just lied down and fell asleep, not picking up any incoming calls.
It was all just on repeat, he stopped carrying about himself, standing up mostly, when he needed to grab drink, use toilet and feed his turtle, Kamekichi. Kamekichi was only thing, that kept him from doing more drastic measurements towards himself. "Kamekichi, food!" He said, putting bowl with turtle food down and Kamekichi slowly and sluggishly came and started eating. Yuki turned himself to go inside, lie down on bed and sleep, not taking care about his arms, which were bleeding. He felt, like nobody cared, he didn't picked up phone, nothing, as if he just cut all contact with outside world and isolated himself.
He even didn't noticed Pierre, who came to check on him, he just wanted to sleep, nothing else was on his mind. Pierre was clearly worried about Yuki, he didn't pick up any of his calls nor anyone else's calls. He opened door from Yuki's room. "Yuki... How are you?" Pierre asked Yuki and sat next to him on bed. Yuki just curled himself into the blanket more, trying to hide the fact, that he had harmed himself from Pierre. Pierre knew, that something was off, Yuki was usually cheerful person, so seeing him like this put him on high alert.
"C'mon, Yuki, what's wrong? Be honest, feeling, like the world is against you again?" Pierre asked. Yuki nodded, still not looking at Pierre. Pierre caresses Yuki's hair and had first aid kit by his hand. The touch made Yuki reassured, since he felt, like someone finally cared, but he also remained a bit sceptical, that he might just does it, so he could get Yuki to spill out all his vulnerabilities and say them to others, who would mock him for it. Pierre felt the fact, that Yuki still didn't trust him enough, but he stayed and comforted him.
He also bought Yuki's favorite food with him. "Yuki, I have sushi, do you want to eat it?" Pierre asked, Yuki didn't look at Pierre, but he quietly answered: "Just put them into fridge, I am not hungry right now," but Pierre knew, that Yuki lied about not being hungry, he was literally shaking and his stomach was really loud from hunger. "I don't think you're not hungry, just need someone, to be with you, since food may not taste same, when you're alone," Pierre said to Yuki, which made Yuki turn to Pierre. "You're right, nobody is coming over and I feel so shitty, being like this, alone, with nobody around," Yuki said to Pierre, he finally felt, like he could trust him.
Pierre held Yuki's hand, trying to find source of smell of blood, Yuki knew well, that Pierre might just figure out, so he sat on bed and rolled his sleeves, revealing wounds and looking on floor, ashamed of himself. "Sorry," Yuki said quietly, thinking, that Pierre was mad at him, but Pierre wasn't, he just felt sad, that he should have been there sooner, but he tended Yuki's wounds and feed Yuki. After food, Yuki went to wash himself, because Pierre told him so and had barely any energy to fight back, so he rather obeyed, in meantime, Pierre cleaned Yuki's room.
When Yuki returned in fresh clothes, washed, he nuzzled close to Pierre, feeling thankful for him. "Let's feed your pet," Pierre said and got the turtle food ready, but as he was nearby the pond, the turtle was nowhere, causing Yuki to panic. "KAMEKICHI!!! KAMEKICHI!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Yuki yelled, trying to find his turtle. Pierre rushed around and found the turtle in the bushes. Yuki let out a deep breath, relieved, that the turtle was found. "You little bastard, Kamekichi! Bad Kamekichi, bad!" Yuki jokingly said to the turtle, Pierre chuckled, as the turtle started eating.
When night came, Yuki thought, that Pierre would return home, leaving him behind again, but Pierre stayed. "I'll stay here, after all, tomorrow, we'll need to pack and go racing," Pierre said, as Yuki looked on calendar, he was shocked, that the break ended. He lost track of time. Yuki stood up and went to pack. "But Pierre, your stuff-" Yuki tried to say, before Pierre cut his sentence. "I have it in my car! Actually, it is better, if I leave my car here, since the apartment, where I live, they are renovating garages." Yuki was happy, that Pierre is staying over, but where would he sleep? "But, where will you sleep? The couch is too small for you!" Yuki looked at Pierre, who smirked "In your bed, cuddling you, Dummy," he said. Yuki's face heated up and he quickly hid it.
