Also, quick side note: I have not watched/seen much of South Park. I've watched like three, maybe four, episodes. But I saw a bunch of art/shorts and fell down the rabbit hole that is Creek, Style, Bunny, etc.

Work Text:

The man felt like he was hit by a truck as he slowly came to. His eyes felt heavy, his ears were ringing, his... everything felt fuzzy. It was like he was coming up from being underwater for days, he couldn't really tell if he was breathing or not. Of course, he had to be breathing, otherwise he'd be dead.

Wait, is he dead?

"Craig?"

An angelic voice called his name.

His eyes fluttered. He tried his best to open them, but they were so heavy and he struggling. He felt his fingers twitch, tried to lift his hands and arms.

"It's okay, take your time."

Craig tried to squeeze his hand and- oh, was he holding something? He let out an annoyed groan, wanting to open his eyes, wanting to come to, why was it so hard?

"Ack! Don't push yourself!"

Craig just groaned again, finally able to force his eyes to open. His eyes fluttered desperately, blinded by the bright fluorescent lights, making his fuzzy head hurt in the process. He let out another pained groan.

"You're so stubborn."

He opened his eyes slightly and saw... an angel. A man with pale blonde hair and brilliant green eyes, wearing a simple green button up flannel over a white shirt. He had freckles dancing across his face, pale skin with no imperfections. He smiled softly, truly an angel who had fallen from heaven and was now blessing Craig with his presence.

The man let out a melodic chuckle, "Take it easy for once, will you? You just got out of surgery. Anesthesia will make you loopy." He gently pat Craig's hand and-

Oh, Craig was holding the man's hand.

He looked down at where their hands were intertwined, then back at the man, then back at his hand.

Craig pulled his hand away.

"You okay?" The angel asked, reaching out and cupping his cheek.

"Stoooooop..." He whined, "You're very pretty... but I'm married..." He lifted his left hand, where his wedding ring was.

The blonde blinked before he let out another chuckle, "Yes, I'm well aware."

"My husband will get mad if he sees you holding my hand." Craig narrowed his eyes at the angel.

"Craig, honey, I am your husband."

The man looked at the blonde and widened his eyes, "...You're my husband?"

The blonde let out another laugh, sounding like a true melody. Craig wanted to listen to that all day. The blonde's face dusted a light shade of pink and nodded.

"I am."

"...Holy shit, I hit the jackpot."

His husband, his husband, laughed again.

Craig sat up and immediately groaned.

"Ack! Craig, easy!" He stood up and gently had him sit and lay back, "Easy, honey!"

Craig reached out and cupped the blonde's cheeks. Or, well, he tried to, but his arms felt heavy, his hands feeling like pins and needles. He managed to put one hand on his shoulder and leaned into him as best as he could, "You're so pretty..."

"Thank you." His husband blushed, giggling.

"I thought you were an angel." Craig murmured, holding his shoulder like his life depended on it, "You have to be an angel if you put up with my shit..."

"You're not so bad. Just stubborn."

"Noooo, I'm an asshole..."

His husband busted out laughing before leaning in and kissing his forehead, "Yeah, well, you're my asshole."

Craig leaned into him, smiling brightly as he pulled the blonde towards him.

"I see Mr. Tucker is awake."

Craig leaned more into his husband, letting out a happy sigh.

"Hey, Doctor. S-Sorry, ack, he just woke up."

"It's alright. I just need to check in to see how he's doing. If he's in pain or nauseous, standard procedure."

"O-Of course. Craig, honey, l-let me go."

"Nooooooo..." Craig whined, "You're my husband..."

"I-I will be right here, b-but we need to make sure you're okay, then we can go home."

The man widened his eyes, pulling back from his angel, "...We live together?"

"We do." His husband was holding back giggles.

"So I get to wake up next to you everyday?"

"Yes, honey."

Tears came to Craig's eyes as he leaned into the bed, covering his face.

"H-Honey-!" "It's alright, Mr. Tucker, anesthesia can make people very emotional."

"Doctor..." Craig moved his hands from his eyes, looking at the man as he motioned to his husband, "That's my husband! He's so fucking pretty!"

"Yes, he was waiting for you the entire time you were under. Now, can I see your arm?"

Craig let out a little cry, but did as he was told, "And he's so sweet?! I don't deserve an angel!"

"Craig, honey..." His angel blushed, chuckling a bit, "Don't say that."

"No, you listen-!" Craig pointed a finger at the blonde, "You-! You're like-! Up here!" He reached as high as he could with his hand, "And me? I'm like-! Waaaaaaaay down here!" He put his hand down as far as he could, "Y-You're so pretty and sweet and nice and I'm an asshole..."

His angel just giggled again, his whole face a bright red.

"And, like, what do you even see in me?" Craig continued to ramble, not really paying attention on what was going on around him, "I mean-! You're pretty! Your eyes look like emeralds! You smell good, like coffee! I could run my finger through your hair! And you have cute freckles! Y-You don't even have to try! And you chose me?" He narrowed his eyes, "I-I better have proposed good... Did I propose good...?"

"The best proposal ever."

"Okay, okay, good. Cause you neeeeeeeed the best. You deserve the best..." Craig nodded absentmindedly.

"Alright, everything appears to be fine." The doctor looked at his angel, "I will have a nurse come in and help with discharge and give you the documents needed."

"Thank you." His angel stood up, putting one of his hands in Craig's hair and beginning to card his fingers through it, relaxing him. He offered his other hand to the doctor, "We'll schedule a follow up tomorrow, if that's okay?"

"Yes, that's fine." The doctor took his hand and shook it.

"Woah, woah, woooooah." Craig leaned into his husband, reach out and pushing the doctor's hand away, "This is my husband..."

His angel snorted a laugh and tried to cover his face with his hand, the doctor struggling to hold back his own laughter.

"I-I'm so sorry." The man managed to get out.

"Yeah, get your own." Craig hissed grumpily, shooing the doctor away, "This is miiiiiiiine."

"Of course, I apologize." The doctor cleared his throat, "Well, Mr. Tucker and Mr. Tucker, if there's any issues at all, please don't hesitate to call."

"Yes, thank you. Sorry about him." His angel chuckled.

"I take no offense." The doctor reassured, leaving.

"Craig, honey, that was not nice."

"I'm an asshole..." Craig let out a tired giggle.

His angel laughed again, leaning down and kissing his forehead. A few minutes later, two nurses came in to help with discharging him. He was given some water and applesauce as one of the nurses handed his angel a folder full of papers. He couldn't hear everything they were saying, and he didn't really care, to be honest. He tried to stare at his angel the whole time, but the nurse helping him kept trying to redirect him. He managed to finish the water and applesauce that was offered before he was helped into a wheelchair. His feet were placed in a specific position as the nurse went behind it to wheel him out.

"Wait, wait... my husband-"

"I'm right here, honey." His angel appeared beside him, gently taking his hand.

"Okay, okay, good. Can't let you run off." Craig said, "I-If I leave you alone, someone might try to sweep you off your feet! I-I can't have that, you're mine!"

His angel turned a bright red as he covered his face with the folder he was given. Craig leaned into the wheelchair and just stared up at his husband. God, he was so pretty. His hair bounced a bit as they walked, messy in the most perfect way. His eyes were so calm yet so bright, they were glowing gemstones yet also a beautiful forest. His freckles looked like little stars, Craig should trace them with his hand to see if there's any constellations.

Eventually, his husband looked down at him and smiled. It was so cute, so loving, so endearing.

Craig smiled dumbly back, feeling a blush form on his cheeks as he grabbed his husband's hand, "We should get married."

His angel laughed and it truly did sound like an angelic choir. He looked down at Craig, "We are married."

"We should do it again. I-I wanna marry you again. I wanna marry you ten thousand times."

"Okay, we'll get married again."

"Fuck yes." Craig leaned back into his chair, "I get to marry the perfectest man in the universe. TWICE! You're not an angel, you're a god."

His husband laughed again before they seemed to step outside. He pointed forward, Craig trying to follow his movements. He still felt sluggish and heavy, so he was thankful he was wheeled to a car, where two of his friends were waiting.

"Hey, Clyde, Tolkien." His husband called, "Thanks for picking us up!"

"Of course, Tweek! How's big man doing?" Clyde chuckled.

"Clyyyyyyde..." Craig managed to get out, pointing to his angel, "This is my husband."

Tolkien snorted, Clyde nodded with a chuckle, "I know. I was there that day."

"He's an angel." Craig stated, "I married an angel."

Clyde nodded again with a chuckle, looking at his husband, "He been like this the entire time?"

"Worse." His husband turned to the nurse.

"Here, let's get you up, dude." Tolkien stepped forward.

Craig groaned as he was forced to stand up. Tolkien wrapped his arm around his waist and had Craig wrap his arm around his shoulders, Clyde getting on the other side to help hold him up. The car door was opened and the two helped Craig into the back, letting him lay down across the seats with a groan. His seatbelt was wrapped around him and he curled up as much as he could.

On the other side, the car door was opened and someone sat next to him before helping Craig lay his head in their lap. Craig was confused and was about to pull away until he saw who it was.

He smiled brightly, "Annnnnngeeeelllllll!"

"Yes, I'm here."

Craig reached up and cupped his angel's face, giggling, "I can't wait to marry you."

"You two are married." Tolkien reminded.

"Fuck you, Tolkien, I'm marrying him again. And you're not invited."

The man let out an exaggerated gasp as Clyde and his angel laughed hysterically.

Craig leaned into his husband, "...God, your so pretty and perfect..."

His angel began to card his fingers through Craig's hair, "You're so handsome."

Tears came to Craig's eyes as he began to whimper.

"Ack! W-What's wrong-?!"

"Y-You think I-I'm handsome?"

His angel widened his eyes before smiling softly, leaning down and kissing his forehead, "The handsomest."

Craig let out a sob, "Noooooo, you aaaaaare!"

"I see what you mean by 'worse.'" Clyde teased.

His angel laughed and cupped Craig's cheeks, kissing his face and wiping his eyes, "Don't cry, honey. Just calm down and relax. Are you tired?"

Craig shrugged, sniffling.

"Try to get some sleep, kay?"

"W-Will you be there?"

"Of course. What kind of angel would I be if I left?"

Craig then smiled and leaned into his hands, "M'kay, good..." He closed his eyes, seeming to drift off easy.

"I love you, Craig."

Craig Tucker woke up, mouth sore and aching, with gauze in his mouth. He groaned, rubbing his eyes and looking around, realizing he was on his bed. He shakily sat up, holding his head in his hand, a slight headache beginning to bud.

"Oh, you're awake."

Craig turned and smiled softly.

"Hey, Tweek." He greeted between the gauze in his mouth.

"Oh, I'm not an angel anymore?"

"What? What're you talking about?"

Tweek snickered, walking to sit next to him on the bed, "Do you remember anything?"

"Not really, no."

"Open." Tweek grabbed his chin, Craig doing so. He pulled out the bloodied gauze from Craig's mouth, replacing it with fresh ones, "You asked me to marry you."

Craig blinked, "But we are married."

"I know. You said you want to marry me ten thousand times."

"Oh, okay, that's good. Been meaning to get your thoughts on that."

Tweek gently nudged his shoulder, "Idiot."

Craig chuckled, leaning forward so their foreheads were touching, "So, I called you an angel, asked you to marry me again, anything else?"

Tweek took out his phone, smirking, "Oh, tons, honey."

Craig felt his face turn a bright red, "Please tell me nothing embarrassing is on that video."

"If you count professing your love for me constantly, staring at me with a big smile, and getting snippy with everyone who so much as shook my hand embarrassing, then I got some bad news."

Craig groaned and flopped dramatically back on the bed.

"Hey, it could have been worse!" Tweek laid on his chest, running his fingers through Craig's hair, "It was all just really cute and sappy shit."

Craig looked down at the blonde and smiled. He then placed a kiss to Tweek's forehead, "Let me see the video."

Tweek chuckled, face turning pink but nodded. He unlocked his phone to begin playing it.

"I love you, angel."
