Chapter Text
All she could see was carnage as Princess Charlotte Estella Seraphina Aurora Persephone Morningstar or Charlie for short; as her long, tailbone-length, golden-blonde colored was being whipped by the explosions all around her.
Cuts and bruises were covering her soft and delicate, porcelain-white colored as her red-colored, battle dress had also been damaged slightly as her jeweled-structured, reddish-amber colored eyes kept on darting back and forth between watching her cannibal subjects taught and devour exorcist angels (who had managed to get inside of the barrier) while her friends and residents of her Hazbin Hotel were also fighting back with sadistic smiles on their faces.
Husk was holding his own while Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust were tag-teaming opponents while Niffty was gleefully going around and stabbing exorcist angels in the legs while Husk had to save her a couple of times while Vaggie was pushing back against her kind, especially Lute.
Charlie had a feeling that Vaggie and Lute were not going to go easy on each other, as she watched more and more death all around her.
A wave of unease kept building within her stomach and her heart as she quickly looked up at the rooftop of Hazbin Hotel, as she knew that Alastor… the fearsome Radio Demon, Overlord and Alpha… was up there, fighting Adam himself.
While also making sure that the barrier was up and if that barrier would fall… Charlie didn't know what was going to happen.
Please… Please be okay, Alastor! Charlie couldn't help but scream in her thoughts as she continued her own battle, as something had caused that unease to shift.
It shifted to that of pure nausea and dread, as something… something didn't feel right.
Something… something is wrong, she couldn't help but think to herself as beads of sweat had begun to cover her body as she soon watched that the barrier around the hotel had fallen, as more exorcists came pouring in.
That could only mean one thing…
Something had happened to Alastor.
Adam… had done something to Alastor.
Chaos kept happening around Charlie, as she couldn't hear anything but static and the pounding of her own heart against her chest.
Her breathing became panicked as something deep within Charlie's own heart, soul and being snapped.
Her Alpha…
Someone had hurt her Alpha.
Gritting her teeth, Charlie couldn't help but allow this building up of unknown power and something else entirely begin to break out from her body as she immediately let out a wail of agony and rage.
That wail had caught everyone's attention as they were suddenly being blinded by a bright and white that engulfed Charlie entirely.
It also didn't help that many of those who had been fighting and gotten blasted by not only the wail but also the light that surrounded Charlie.
Those who did not move out of the way of the light had been turned into nothing but dust, so the fighting had come to a halt.
"Charlie!" Vaggie screamed, terror and panic itched into her voice as she tried to fly over towards where her girlfriend had been but was immediately stopped and grabbed by a concerned and highly frightened Husk.
"I would not go over there right now, Vaggie!" Husk screamed back at her as she tried to struggled out of his strong hold. "It's dangerous!"
Vaggie ignored the worry in Husk's voice as she kept on struggling against his grip, trying her best to escape from his hold. "No!" she snapped back. "Let me go, Husk! Charlie needs me!"
"I have to save her!" she also screamed back, as she tried her best to hold back the tears.
That was when Husk snapped too.
"CHARLIE WON'T WANT YOU TO HURT YOURSELF!" he had screamed back at her. "YOU COULD BE TURNED TO DUST, VAGGIE!"
Husk continued, "DO YOU THINK CHARLIE WOULD WANT FOR YOU!"
That was when Vaggie had stopped her struggling as she knew that Husk was right; if she went over there now to Charlie… she could be turned into instant dust just like how those exorcists and cannibals who didn't move out of the way in time.
"Okay Husk," Vaggie whispered softly as Husk sighed heavily and relaxed a bit as all eyes were on the sphere of light.
That was when something had shot out of the ball of light and ended up colliding with a concerned full-demon mode Razzle and Dazzle.
The figure to be that of a young woman, one that looked to be somewhat and eerily identical to Charlie. However, it was clear as day that this woman was not Charlie.
One, she had been wearing a different dress than what Charlie had been wearing when this whole battle mess started.
The outfit that this young woman was wearing was a small, circle neckline collar, black-colored blouse-like shirt. One that did not have any sleeves.
However, she did have dark-purple colored, attachable sleeves on her arms. Ones that had a dark-brown and leather band around them. Tied around her neck was a black-colored and leather choker; one that had a silver-sterling, Celtic-like cross attached to the collar.
The bottom part of her outfit was interesting to say the least; for it appeared that she was wearing a skirt and pants overlay. The skirt was long but it only went down to her mid-leg section as the color of the skirt was a dark purple.
However, it was also noticeable that the skirt had black-colored ravens and black-colored roses printed onto the fabric.
The pants were also long, but they were a deep red color, almost that of blood. It was also she was wearing a pair of black, high-heeled and leather, boots.
Whenever or not the boots were short or went up to her knees remained a mystery as it was also quickly noticed that she was wearing a pair of fingerless, deep-red colored gloves on her hands as well.
The second difference about her from Charlie was the fact that this young woman had furred, soft and fuzzy, golden-blonde colored lamb ears.
Instead of the small, hobbit-like ears that Charlie had.
Another difference between Charlie and this woman was the fact that the tail was also different. This woman's tail was golden-blonde colored and was furred; however… there was the little golden-blonde colored tuff fluff at the end.
It almost resembled that of a lion's tail or a unicorn's tail.
The woman let out a groan as she managed to stand up right wirh the help of Razzle and Dazzle, who refused to leave her side. And refused to allow anyone to come closer to this woman too.
She must have opened her eyes from the gasp of horror and surprise she made from what Husk, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Niffty and the others could hear as she immediately screamed out, "CHARLIE!"
Razzle and Dazzle immediately began to push this woman back to safety and away from Charlie as she was desperately trying to get to her, while she struggled with getting away from them.
"LET ME GO, YOU TWO!" she had snapped back at Razzle and Dazzle, as they ignored her order. "MY TWIN NEEDS ME!"
That had gotten the attention of all who were there.
Twin?
Charlie had a twin?
That's impossible, Lute thought to herself as panic became to creep into her body. Lilith had swore to Adam that Charlie had been the only one born and that she was just a regular hellborn demon of a succubus!
Lute's panic slowly turned that into of rage. She gritted her teeth, as she quickly realized that Lilith had lied to both Adam and her about her little daughter.
I am going to murder that woman! Lute had screamed in her thoughts.
That was when the light had died down and standing before them all was Charlie; however… it was clear to everyone.. that this Charlie was different from how she was from before.
For starters, Charlie's outfit had changed dramatically. Instead of that red battle dress; she was now wearing a turtleneck-collar, long-sleeved and ankle-length dress. One that was pure white like snow.
Upon her hands and her hooved feet were a pair of fingerless and toeless, pastel-purple colored gloves and socks.
Over her head, she also had on a white, lace veil as it went down to her knees; upon her neck was a rose-gold metal rosary. The stones that were made along with the Celtic-like cross were that of pink star diamonds and violet-blue benitoite gemstones.
However, it was noticed that Charlie's tail had matched the tail that the woman who claimed to be Charlie's twin had; as it was also noticed that while Charlie did have her small, hobbit-like ears… she also gained, beautiful and white-feathered, angelic wings.
And that was when Charlie opened her eyes, as all couldn't help tremble at the sight of them.
Her eyes, while they still kept that jeweled-structure and reddish-amber color, the pupils were that of crosses.
"O lost souls that lost their way," Charlie spoke in an elegant voice, as it clear to all that she was speaking another language one that her twin sister, the exorcist and Vaggie recognized as the language of higher-up and divine angels.
Her hands, which had been stationed in a pray mode, had moved as she raised her right hand as she narrowed her eyes at all and more importantly, at the rooftop… where Adam had fought Alastor.
Adam, who had turned his back and had defeated Sir Pentious while allowing the injured sinner Alpha to escape, couldn't help but tremble in fear of Charlie.
This aura…
This power…
It clearly belonged to that of Nephilim, a child born between a human woman and an angelic man.
Adam couldn't help but grit his teeth and gripped the railing of the roof as he clearly realized like Lute… that Lilith had been lying to him.
"May you repent," Charlie spoke as she raised her hand down upon several exorcist angels as white-light like crosses came down and impaled those exorcist angels as Lute and a few others managed to dodge from the crosses that were raining down upon the hellish skies of Gehenna.
The woman who was being guarded by Razzle and Dazzle couldn't help but feel worry for her twin sister as she continued to struggle as she kept on grumbling, "Come on, you two… I need to get to Charlie before things get worse!"
Razzle and Dazzle were still refusing to listen to the woman as they kept pushing her back as she was clearly getting irritated by their disobedience.
The woman growled but sighed as she understood that Razzle and Dazzle didn't want her to harm herself.
"MY BABES!" Adam roared as he took into the skies and was about to fight Charlie when a large and deadly predator of a feline appeared.
One to be the size of Siberian tiger; as the snow-white furred and two-tailed feline growled at Adam, stopping him in his tracks.
This feline also had black-colored markings upon their forehead; one that looked to be that of the Yin and Yang symbol.
The feline's eyes were an electric-blue color as her pupils were slitted as her deadly, white colored fangs and claws were ready to harm Adam if he so dared tried to harm the feline's mistress.
Upon seeing the appearance of the two-tailed, nekomata demon feline; the twin of Charlie couldn't help but curse, "Shit!"
"KeeKee!" she roared, one that caused most the demons and sinners around the area to flinch.
That roar and order definitely belonged to that of a true Alpha.
The black and white, one-eyed tuxedo feline appeared as it looked like KeeKee had been slightly injured as the woman sighed heavily, bending down and letting KeeKee jump into her arms.
"Thank you for trying to keep Bijou back KeeKee," the woman muttered underneath her breath as she stroked the soft fur of KeeKee, who purred in delight. "However, I am going to be needing my sword if you do not mind."
KeeKee nodded as she jumped out of the woman's arms and allowed her tail to open a sharp-teethed mouth as the woman reached into the mouth and pulled out a beautiful, angelic rapier sword and sheath.
"Yo, what the fuck!" Angel Dust couldn't help but scream out as all looked at the sight with wide eyes.
The woman ignored him and smiled down at KeeKee and said, "Thank you, KeeKee."
"You can go and get Father," the woman ordered as KeeKee nodded and then walked away from the hotel, going into the Pride Ring and to the Morningstar Palace to fetch Lucifer.
Once KeeKee was out of sight, the woman had snapped her fingers and the sheath disappeared from view, leaving only the rapier sword as the woman slowly turned and faced the remaining exorcist angels and smiled.
Not a kind smile.
A sadistic smile.
A sudden chill went up the bones of Lute and the exorcist as she said, "Now… who shall be my first dance partner."
—————————————————————
Adam glared at Charlie as he gritted his teeth as Charlie simply ignored him as she smiled softly at the nekomata-feline in front of her and lightly stroked the fur upon the head of this deadly feline.
The feline upon feeling Charlie's gentle touch could not help but purr in delight.
"Thank you Bijou," Charlie simply answered normally as Bijou leaned more into the touch. "I knew that you would have come."
Bijou let out a happy chuff as Charlie continued to pet her as Adam could not take anymore.
"Stop ignoring me, bitch!" Adam roared as both Charlie and Bijou turned and looked him as Bijou began to growl lowly while Charlie narrowed her eyes at him. "I want fucking answers from you, bitch!"
Adam continued to scream, "What game are you fucking playing?!"
"You are not a fucking nephilim!" the first man of humanity went on. "So why the fuck are you know like this?!"
Adam snarled, "Explain!"
"I will not explain myself to one who has disappointed Grandfather and Grandmother," Charlie stated firmly.
Adam flinched at the tone of her voice and the fact that she was talking about God and Mother Earth.
"I-I have never disappointed them, you cunt!" Adam yelled angrily. "I did my duties from both of them so you can shut your fucking mouth!"
Charlie then cocked her head to the side, almost like a confused child would; as she then asked, "Then why did you let Aunt Elysia die?"
Adam flinched as the guilt and fear started to clench his heart as he began to tremble. "Why didn't you save her? She was supposed to be your bride, was she not?"
"She… she chose Cain!" Adam pointed out. "What was I supposed to do?!"
Charlie continued, "You could have given your blessing to Cain and Elysia."
"You could have made sure that Cain didn't move deeper into the woods with Elysia," the young nephilim maiden continued as Adam kept his mouth shut. "You could have made sure that Cain's growing jealousy and envy over Abel was kept in check."
Charlie whispered softly, "But you didn't."
"You didn't give your blessing to Elysia and Cain instead you acted like a child and demanded that your son returned a bride that you said 'that was rightfully yours'," she revealed.
"You forced Cain to move when you kept harassing both of him and even caused Elysia to worry that you may cause harm," Charlie said. "You even encouraged Cain's own jealousy and envy towards Abel to grow."
Charlie narrowed her eyes at Adam as she said those dreaded words that Adam didn't want to hear, "Everything is your fault."
"The blood of Aunt Elysia is upon your hands," she continued to damn Adam. "The blood of Abel is upon your hands. The blood of those who have come across a mad Cain is on your hands."
Charlie went on, "The madness of Cain is upon your hands. The curse of Cain's endless wandering, never to rest and never to be with Aunt Elysia's soul up in the stars is on your hands."
"Shut up," Adam whispered as he immediately raised his angelic axe, the one that still had the blood of Alastor, upon it's blade. "SHUT UP!"
Adam flew as he managed to kick Bijou away from protecting Charlie as he was about to cut Charlie's head when she noticed the blood on the axe.
She had managed to stop the blade from reaching her neck with one hand, as she had the strength to keep Adam from finishing the deed as she stared at the bloodied blade.
"Whose blood did you spill?" Charlie asked, as she eyed the blade carefully and then looked back at Adam with a fiery glare that reminded Adam of the look that not only Elysia had given him but also the look that Lilith had too.
A look that was only given when Adam had tried to harm those who were important to both women.
"Whose blood did you spill?!" Charlie demanded again, as she repeated herself.
Adam growled, "Why do you care?!"
"I only injured that freaky deer-sinner who deserved it!" Adam snarled back.
That was when Charlie's face went murderous as she simply and easily broke Adam's axe with single grip as Adam's eyes went wide, he was stunned.
His weapon…
It had shattered.
Charlie upon shattering his axe's blade and simply took the broken weapon from his hold and threw it down to the ground, as it caused a crater in the ground.
She flew close to Adam as she reached over and simply flicked his forehead, which caused the dazed Adam to be thrown back at the hotel as he had destroyed not only the roof of the Hazbin Hotel but also… he landed into the lobby of the hotel, as everything inside was broken.
Charlie stared hard at Adam's broken body as he groaned in pain as Charlie couldn't help but be overcame with fury.
How dare he? Charlie thought to herself. How dare he harm my Alpha?!
The image of Adam hurting her Alpha had caused the fury that had been burning before in Charlie's heart to be reignited as she slowly raised her hand at Adam's injured body as a sudden a ball of bluish, whitish and greenish fire appeared in her hand.
The woman, from down below, who had joined the residents of the hotel and the cannibals in slaying the exorcist angels, had quickly noticed what Charlie was about to do.
"Oh shit," she whispered as she immediately summoned her black-feathered and demonic wings as she quickly took to the skies as she needed to calm Charlie down immediately.
Charlie was about to fire the little fireball when the woman's hand grabbed her wrist as she screamed, "Stop it, Charlie!"
Charlie's rage filled eyes turned to the woman and they suddenly shifted into that of confusion. "Celia?" the young nephilim maiden asked, as she once again… cocked her head to the side like a confused child. "How are you here?"
"That's not important right now," Celia chimed in as she looked into Charlie's eyes as she smiled softly. "What's important is that you calm down, Charlie?"
Charlie's confusion disappeared with a shake of her head as she called out, "I cannot calm down!"
With her other hand, she immediately pointed at Adam's body as Lute had gone inside of the hotel to help him while being followed by Vaggie, hot on her heels and itching for a fight after Lute had killed Dazzle, who had been trying to protect Vaggie.
"He harmed my Alpha, Celia!" Charlie screamed. "He needs to be punished!"
Celia's eyes briefly went wide before she calmed herself as she simply said, "Then go to your Alpha, Charlie."
The angry once again disappeared from Charlie's body as Celia continued, "Go find him and heal him, Charlie."
"If he is your Alpha then you are his Omega," Celia whispered. "Go."
Celia smiled, "I will take care of everything here, little sister."
Charlie went still as she slowly nodded and with Celia removing her hand upon Charlie's wrist, Celia had allowed Charlie to leave the battlefield to go and find Alastor.
Celia looked at Bijou as she motioned with her head, suggesting to where Charlie was heading as she said, "You can go too, Bijou."
"I can handle this," she said.
Bijou gave a quick nodded and flew past Celia as the two-tailed demon feline followed after Charlie, determined to protect her mistress.
Celia watched them leave as she sighed heavily and then looked down at the scene below, as it seemed that her father had came to Vaggie's aid as she muttered, "Time to finish this."
With that Celia flew down and joined the battle.
—————————————————————
Charlie and Bijou had arrived at the destroyed radio tower of the hotel as Charlie ran as she began to look for Alastor while Bijou had transformed back into her smaller, more domestic and adorable form; as it seemed that pastel-purple ribbon collar with the golden, little bell chimed as she went along with her owner.
"Alastor," Charlie breathed out as she looked everywhere for the fearsome Radio Demon. "Where are you?"
Charlie looked around the destroyed radio tower as she picked up some furniture and continued, "It's me, Charlie!"
"Where are you?!" she asked frantically.
A faint sound of static could be heard as Charlie'a ears perked up as she went towards the sound, followed by Bijou.
Charlie then stumbled upon the gravely injured Alastor as his breathing was shallow while groaning in pain. Her eyes immediately went wide with shock as she cried out, "Alastor!"
She ran over towards him as Bijou lingered behind her owner as the feline still eyed Alastor with caution. Alastor, from what Charlie could see, had tried to stitch up the injury that Adam had lovingly inflicted upon him.
Alastor's blood was mixed into the golden wound as Charlie ignored the slight heartbeat skip when she saw his chest.
The nephilim maiden immediately sat down next to him as she could see that his eyes were shut as he must have passed out when trying to stitch up the wound.
"Alastor," she breathed out as she reached up with a gentle hand and brushed his hair from his face as she then place her hand on his forehead. She frowned, he was burning up a fever too.
Charlie smiled softly as she removed her hand from his forehead; she could see beads of sweat coming down as she slowly placed both of her hands upon the wound, which caused him to let out a hiss of pain.
"Don't worry Alastor," she continued as she stared at him lovingly while Bijou went over slowly towards Charlie and sat down at Alastor's feet.
"I'll make the pain and the wound go away," she whispered.
Charlie then slowly closed her eyes as she began to sing, "Ooh…"
A soft glow appeared from her hands as Bijou watched carefully and closely as Charlie continued to sing, "I was so happy when you smiled… your smile breaks through the clouds of grey."
"Far from the sunndays that lie in sleep," she sang as she allowed the soft and warm, light transfer from her hands and onto Alastor's wounds. "Waiting with patience for the spring when the flowers will bloom, renwed again."
The light had softly began to undo all of the sloppy stitched work that Alastor had tried to do with his wound while dissolving while the ugly, sickly-golden hue from the angelic weapon also began to disappear once the soft and warm light touched it.
"Know there's more beyond the pain of today," Charlie sang as the healing powers that she had continued to do it's work. While the sweat from Alastor's forehead suddenly went away as his fever was slowly coming down. "Although the scars of yesterday remain, you can go on living as much as your heart believes."
Slowly the wound that Adam had caused Alastor began to disappear from his skin as Alastor couldn't help but groan as he slowly cracked open his blood-red colored eyes and looked to see that Charlie was right there in front of him.
"You can't be born again although you can change," she sang as Alastor was quite taken aback, but he was still weak from the wound that Adam had caused him as he lightly sniffed the air, as something entered his nostrils.
The scent clearly belonged to Charlie, however… while her floral and sweet scent was still there, it had also changed slightly. He could actually actually smell hints of vanilla tangled in roses and lavender; but… there was a scent of wisteria on the tip of his tongue. He could also briefly smell a hint of honey drizzled with raspberries too.
It was odd being able to smell Charlie's scent more clearly, and even though Alastor did not like sweets personally… he could admit that Charlie's scent was quite pleasant.
"Let's stay together always," she sang as Charlie slowly reopened her eyes and revealed them to Alastor, who was once again… taken aback by her sudden change and appearance. "Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa… Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa."
Alastor staring into Charlie's eyes began to feel something deep within him; something that Alastor would often ignore because it was a brutally reminder on him being an Alpha.
Her eyes, her scent!
An Omega, he purred with delight.
" Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa," Charlie continued to sing as the wound was almost healed fully. "Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa… Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa."
Charlie glanced down as she could see that the wound was now almost fully healed as she sang the last line, "Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa."
Once the last verse was out of her mouth, the wound from Adam was not only now fully healed but it also left no scar upon Alastor's chest. Alastor still couldn't believe what had just happened as Charlie was about to remove her hands from Alastor's chest was when he immediately reached out with his own hands, grabbing her wrists.
Charlie was surprised by that sudden contact as her eyes were once again back onto Alastor's face and his own eyes.
"Wait," he breathed out.
Charlie raised an eyebrow as she continued to stare at him. "Why?" he asked.
"Why what, Alpha?" Charlie asked, as she cocked her head to the side in an adorable manner.
Alastor had to hold back a delighted purr from his throat, as he cleared his throat and asked politely, "Why did you heal me?"
"Why wouldn't I heal my Alpha?" Charlie asked, as she leaned in closer to Alastor's face as their noses gently brushed each other as Alastor could feel a pleasant static shiver going up his spine as she smiled softly at him. "You were injured, Alpha."
Charlie continued, "I, as your Omega, had to go and heal you."
Oh…
Oh…
Oh shit.
Alastor could feel his metal collar tighten around his neck as he could feel the fur on his ears and on his hidden deer tail bristle just a bit.
Charlie leaned back from him as she kept looking into his eyes as Alastor couldn't help but feel like that Charlie could read his soul just by looking at him with those doe-like eyes of hers.
Breaking free from his hold on her wrists, Charlie cupped his cheeks which startled him slight as she stared at him.
"Would Alpha like for his Omega to break the soul contract between him and the one who owns his soul?" she asked.
Alastor was utterly and completely torn at the aspect of being free from the person who owned his soul; he wanted to be free but… at the same time… what would happen if that person discovered that Charlie freed him?
What would that person do to do Charlie?
Alastor didn't want to think about that person harming Charlie over the simple act of breaking the soul contract.
"I…" his voice trailed off, as he tried to think about what he could say to Charlie. "I…"
A few seconds had passed when all of a sudden, Charlie's eyes suddenly closed as she went to sleep on Alastor's chest while the outfit she had been wearing, those wings and that strange tail were all gone.
And Charlie once again back in the outfit that he had last seen her in.
Alastor blinked as he was now confused as Bijou had watched him closely as in a rare occasion, Alastor allowed his Alpha nature took hold of him.
An Omega, his Omega mind you, was exhausted and sleeping in front of him. She needed to be brought to a safe space and this nearly destroyed hotel wasn't the perfect fit for her.
He knew that his old territory, the Pandemonium Woods, still belonged to him as he stood up while holding Charlie bridal style while Bijou had jumped on his shoulders, as the nekomata stared at Alastor as he did her.
The feline gave a clear warning message, she was coming whenever he liked it or not.
Alastor already knew that he was not going to win this best considering that his mother Esmé and his paternal aunt Adelheid all had cats before their deaths.
So… he was used to cats.
He liked cats.
Better than dogs, he couldn't help but grumble in his thoughts as a shadowy portal opened before him, a sleeping Charlie and Bijou as they soon disappeared, leaving the hotel and whoever was still at the battlefield here.
