Chapter Text
The grownups heard the scream and ran up as fast as they could to see Angelica crying, the babies looking frightened standing in the doorway of her room, and Didi's cousin, Bucky, standing in confusion while his pinky finger is still out.
"What is going on here?!" Drew asked, "Angelica, honey, what's wrong?"
"D-Daddy!" Angelica sobbed, "I was just trying to go to the bathroom a-and this giant baby scared me! And cause of him, I had an accident!"
"Oh poor Angelica…" Drew tried to comfort his daughter as he glared at the man next to them.
Bucky smiled sheepishly as the babies stood near Angelica's door and Drew took his daughter inside the bathroom to clean her up. Didi, of course, was not happy that her cousin went against her wishes and scared the babies over some silly gesture.
"What did I tell you about not bothering the kids?" Didi angrily said, "You practically scared them to death!"
"But-but I was just playing with them!" Bucky tried to explain., "And I wanted them to pull my finger."
"That's no excuse!" She scolded, "You really frightened Angelica! Plus no one wants to play your joke! I'm sorry, Bucky, but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you leave."
"But-"
"Now mister!"
Bucky wanted to explain but he just hung his head in shame and grabbed his clothes before heading to his car. But he stopped at the door and held his pinky out one last time.
"Pull my-"
But Didi closed the door before he could answer. She shook her head in annoyance as the phone started to ring.
"Didi, could you get that for me, please?" Drew called from upstairs.

"Sure thing!" Didi called out before heading to the phone, "Hello?"
"Didi! Listen, it's Stu! I'm in jail!" Stu said in a panic.
"What?!" She said in shock.
"After Drew kicked me out, I tried to get back in but the cops arrested me and they won't listen to me! You gotta get me out, Deed!"
"Stu! I'll be right there!" Didi cried before hanging up.
After having Lou and the other parents watch the kids, Didi had her brother in law drive her over to the police station to clear this mess up. Shortly after they arrived and said who they were, the officers let Stu out of his cell.
"Whew! Thanks Deed." Stu sighed in relief.
"How on earth did this happen?" She asked.
"Your husband was trying to break into a house wearing that silly outfit." The chief answered.
"I told you, it was my brothers house and we were having a costume party, which I was kicked out of thanks to my so called brother all because he didn't agree with me." Stu defended himself and glared at Drew.
"He's telling the truth." Didi spoke up before Drew could protest, "We were having a costume party and my husband and I came as Tarzan and Jane. My brother in law kicked him out over a ridiculous disagreement and bothered to let him back inside or even tell me."
"Ohhh, so he was telling the truth after all." The chief also gave a glare to the two officers who arrested Stu.
The two looked guilty for not believing his story. They thought Stu was being weird and breaking in into a random house but now they know that's not the case.
"Our bad, chief."
"We sincerely apologize, sir."
"And for causing all of this, my brother in law would be happy to pay his bail." Didi turned to Drew and sternly said, "Isn't that right, Drew?"
Drew wanted to refuse but everyone glared at him for making his own brother go through so much in one night over a stupid argument. He had no choice but to give in.
"Yes Didi." He sighs and took out his checkbook.
After paying the bail, Drew drove them back to his house so they could take Tommy home. As Stu, Tommy, and Lou were out the door, Didi had one more thing to say to her brother in law.
"First off, we won't be having anymore costume parties in this place." She placed her hands on her hips, "And once and for all, Tarzan is the king of the jungle! Not King Kong!"
"But-"
The door slammed before Drew could get a word in. Drew felt drained after the whole night and after the others took their kids home, he helped Angelica go to bed finished cleaning up. The next day, he received an earful from his wife when Didi told Charlotte what happened.
From that day on, they only had costume parties at the other houses and Drew wasn't allowed to argue with his brother over costumes anymore.
