It was a hot Summer day. Birds were singing along with the soft breeze in the air. Everything was perfect—but not completely yet.
Maybe it became a little more perfect when Keiju finally found his hyung lying under a tree. Or when he did not hesitate to lie beside him, already speaking loudly.
"Minje hyung! I've found a lake full of rainbow-ish fish!"
Minje only hummed in response.
For him, it was more perfect just to listen to the younger. His voice was softer and more pleasant than his own—it made his heart sway in sweet motions.
"You should come see them with me! They're so beautiful, you might die at first sight! I swear, there's nothing more beautiful in this world."
"Keiju-ssi…" the older said softly.
Keiju immediately bounced back to his feet, taking the sudden answer as approval.
"Hurry up, they look better when the sun is high!"
Minje should have been upset, but he was not—not when it came to his lovely dongsaeng. Having his words ignored most of the time had become usual, so he had started to simply go with it. They were better like that.
"I do not want to see those fish. I've already seen the most beautiful thing in this world."
"What is it?"
"Your smile."
Perhaps the moment became a little more perfect when butterflies started fluttering in Keiju's stomach. Or when Minje felt it too—and agreed that he was not the only one burning hotter than the summer sun.
