You’ve always felt out of place. At home. Growing up. In the city. At work. Wherever life took you, you never belonged.
Quitting your job and moving to the farm was the first time you put yourself first. The first time you made the big decision.
It isn’t a vacation. Farmwork is hard. Everyday, from sunup to sundown, you work. Mining, farming, foresting, foraging. You work in the sun and the rain and the snow. And slowly, little-by-little, grandpa’s farm, your farm, grows around you.
And as you stand, breathing in the country air, you think, 'yeah, I belong here.’
