Summary:

Page art for the Cavendish Zine (cavendishzine2025.carrd.co). Our theme was stars and roses and I was inspired by Dita Von Teese's iconic martini glass burlesque performance.

Work Text:

A digital painting of a bush of roses at night. Stars twinkle in the dark sky and dew drops are scattered across the dark red petals. Cavendish sits in a rose at the center. He is nude but covered tastefully by the petals. He leans back, posing with one arm and one leg lifting, performing a sultry burlesque number. His other leg is bent as if he is alternating kicking his feet. He gazes at the viewer with a soft smirk, his hair cascading down around his shoulders and on to the rose. He glows softly in the moonlight, flushed pink on his face and extremities.
