Work Text:
Dead no longer there
Fill up the blood-tainted streets
Lost city once more
Title from the last chapter of Fear Garden by IceMintFreeze (“…a metal cage was swaying side to side gently- with no one inside it.”)
I had to do a found poetry haiku with a passage from basically anything, and I just started Fear Garden, so I figured I’d use it!
(See the end of the work for more notes.)
Dead no longer there
Fill up the blood-tainted streets
Lost city once more
I used the first paragraph of the final chapter, for anyone curious. The found poetry criteria applied to the title too, so that’s why it’s named like that
I also had to warn the teacher “the passage I used was school friendly, THE REST OF THE STORY IS NOT”
