Alex awoke to gentle fingers toying with the hairs at the nape of her neck. Blinking, she realized she'd rolled over onto her stomach at some point in the night and that now a familiar weight was pressing against her side. Grunting, she twisted her head, smirking up at the sight of Astra sitting up besides her, one leg slung over the agent's while the played with the younger woman's hair.
"What are you up to?" Alex laughed, yawning slightly.
"Am I up to something?" Astra chuckled "I wasn't aware"
Alex snorted. "Dork" she muttered, shifting partway onto her side, gently plucking Astra's hand away from her neck to bring it up to her lips, pressing a soft kiss to her palm, chuckling as Astra let out a soft, inarticulate but clearly happy sound at the act. Pulling away, Astra stretched out, laying down besides the younger woman, absently propping herself up on one elbow, smiling softly.
“I thought I was your dork?” she murmured.
“You are, but you’re still a dork,” Alex grinned. She stretched, feeling her joints pop “what time is it?”
“A little after eight AM” Astra replied softly, flopping onto her back and also stretching.
“It’s Saturday, right?” Alex asked hopefully.
“It is, and we’re not on call. Barring any kind of sudden disaster, that is”
“Don’t jinx it,” Alex ordered firmly “you jinx it, and I will thump you”
Astra stuck her tongue out at her before suddenly scooping her up and pulling her atop her, tucking her head against her shoulder. “Would you like to stay here for now?” she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Alex’s temple.
“Definitely” Alex murmured, pressing a soft open-mouthed kiss to the older woman’s shoulder, smiling at the goosebumps that broke out at the act. Wriggling, Alex rolled onto her front, propping herself up onto one arm, reaching out to tangle her fingers in Astra's long dark hair, seeking out that lone streak of white. Smiling, Astra gently captured her wrist, pressing a soft kiss to the inside of her wrist...
