Insight into the Story and Characters
Shouta Aizawa:
Shouta Aizawa is 29 years old in this fan fiction. This story takes place a year before the original one, since I didn’t want it to ruin the original storyline. In the canon storyline, every year you get a new homeroom teacher. (This is a quick heads-up to those who didn’t know.)
The Reader:
The reader is in their last year at UA, at the age of 18. The reader is a hardworking student and is also a transfer student from their hometown. Since Aizawa is stoic, logical, and apathetic, but also quick to support his students or anyone for that matter, I’m trying to make the reader’s personality more of the opposite. I mean, opposites attract. Having the same personality as your love interest or friend will quickly melt the candle, if that makes sense. It also complements your relationship in a way.
The reader’s quirk is something that might come up later. The reader lives alone in a small apartment. Their parents support them from the side but aren’t exactly relevant to the story (at least I’m not planning to make them relevant).
Other:
The reader’s classmates consist mostly of 18-year-olds and 17-year-olds. For now, there isn’t much on them, so I’ll do a character insight update again once I’m sure.
I also don’t exactly plan on making an explicit chapter. Maybe. Who knows. I might surprise you with one.
This is based on the red string theory, which, in short, is the belief that an invisible red thread connects people destined to be together. No matter what, the string will never break. However, I added three small twists to that. (Before you lose your horses, the string won’t break. I’ll be keeping that rule, since I’m deadly allergic to angst.)
First, the string is only visible to two people, the ones who share the string.
Secondly, the red string isn’t always there, it will pop up at the right time.
Third and lastly, the two people who are connected to that string are soulmates. (I have no idea if this belongs to the original theory, but I’m still gonna say this.)
This is going to be the symbol for time skips or similar situations: ♫
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy this fan fiction.
