Chapter 1: Scottish person spotted outside of Scotland?

Chapter Text

Bonnie sat gently on her bed. Quiet rage filled her veins as she read the text on her phone. Bonnie turned the phone off and placed it on the bed. She stared up at the ceiling for a few moments, gathering her thoughts.

After a minute or two, she slowly stood up and looked around her room. She gripped what she was looking for, and in a trance-like state, left the room. The white walls all blended together in her eyes as she dragged the item in the ground behind her. Her breath comes in sharp waves that cut through her lungs as the biting winter air infiltrated her nose.

The door closed with a bang and the concrete under her feet wasn’t visible under the thick film of snow that now covered her bare feet and the ends of her pants. For about a minute did Bonnie walk, her face was red and stinging and her feet felt like they were going to fall off but none of that mattered now. She was at her destination and she began pounding on the door.

“Mary, please do open up, it’s quite cold out here”, her banging and the gentleness in her voice clearly didn’t match. Mary, Bonnie’s colleague, had opened the door and her eyes went wide in shock.

Thud

Mary fell to the floor, alerting Tavish- Bonnie’s husband- to come running down the stairs. Bonnie turned to look at him, before he fell too with a thud and a sickening crack.

The bat she was holding was covered in blood, matching the floor of Mary’s kitchen. Bonnie could only cry as she thought to herself. The bat fell with a clang and she could only remember so much before passing out on the wet floors.

She had woken up in a dark enclosed space. Her hands felt clean as she rubbed the together. Thick robes layered over her arms as she moved them around, feeling the places plush velvet walls. She felt one give a bit when she pushed, so she gave extra pressure before completely falling over. She held her head in her hands as it throbbed while regaining her senses. Green fires surrounded her along with several voices. Her glassy eyes wandered the room.

“It seems one of our freshman couldn’t wait!” A voice in front of her called out. She stood up and dusted her hands off on the black robe she was wearing.

Huh, she didn’t remember changing clothes…

She was stunned when she looked around, rows and rows of pews filled with robed people clamoring about a “vulgar display”. She turned and behind her were floating coffins.

“Am I… am I in hell?”, she asked quietly. She looked over to the voice from seconds ago, only to see a tall man dressed lavishly in bird feathered clothes and a face embellished by a bird mask. His bright yellow eyes focused in on her as she moved back. He tilted his head- which was also oddly bird like- and slowly approached.

“You do know where you are, correct?” Bonnie shook her head, her mouth kept in a tight frown. “Must be the time-space transportation, just give it a minute”, the birdman concluded. She waited to the side while several other teens emerged from the coffins. They all looked interesting, some with animals ears and wild hair colors. They actually reminded her of those American people that she’d see in the streets and whatnot.

The birdman dragged her over to a large mirror.

“State your name”, he ordered.

“Bonnie”, the mirror sat and thought. This was proving to be such a strange dream.

“This soul”, the mirror interrupted her thoughts with a loud announcement, “belongs in Pomefiore”

She was put in with a group of pretty people, in font of all of them was a tall androgynous person with shoulder length blond hair and purple tips.

Later on, the ceremony was finished and they were being dragged through a mirror of some sort, bringing Bonnie to a castle.

It was then did Bonnie realize she was wide awake.
