"Captain's Log -- er, actually, Leiutenant's Log -- number one. Honestly, never really done this before. But I've heard that this can be really cathartic, so I thought I'd give it a try.
On the way to our psychology conference, Shara, Selar, Anh, and I were hit by a mind-altering fog. I was the only one who was relatively unaffected. This led to me finding out several bits of personal information about my closest friends, which I still feel guilty about. They deserved the chance to tell me everything on their own terms.
Though, I suppose there was one positive outcome of the fog. The Vulcans' newfound energy led them to being more romantic with each other. If we weren't as concerned about their filters being removed, Anh and I may have thought it cute.
Hindsight is 20/20, though. Looking back without the active fear has allowed me to appreciate it a lot more. I'm glad they've both found someone who loves them as much as they do. They deserve it.
Anyway, I'll likely give a more detailed log when I have a bit more privacy. I'm not sure I trust the thickness of the walls in this hotel room.
Lieutenant Ramos, signing off."
