Damian and Raven are dating. They like silence. Because even in what may seem like quiet silence at first glance, the two of them are breathing, their lives, rooted in it.
That doesn't mean they're silent all the time. They talk normally, and if it's a topic they both like, they might talk for hours. The "silence" they both love is an extension of their lives. They spend their time doing whatever they like. Reading, maintaining their weapons, meditating - the variations are many.
The two of them sometimes work separately, and sometimes work back to back. When they are both concentrating on their respective tasks, a silence naturally falls. An atmosphere of familiarity and a touch of warmth fills the space between them.
When their eyes occasionally meet, the air becomes just a little gentler. That, too, is part of their silence, and part of their daily routine.
