Gray Yeon attempted to save Donald Na and push him out of the way. Unfortunately, he was just a tad too slow. In the end, both of them were struck by the truck and both of them died. It was a tragic day and Gray's funeral was held a few days after Donald's.
Time marched on. Even though two teenagers had been killed, the world kept on moving forward. Soon, everyone entered their second year of high school.
Ben Park was eating at Ttosikki Chicken when he noticed a dog with blonde fur and red eyes slowly approaching him. The dog froze once it saw that Ben noticed him. Ben smiled but the dog growled in response and began to back away.
"Hey, wait," Ben grabbed a fried chicken leg and offered it to the dog, "here, you can have this."
The dog eyed Ben suspiciously and took a few hesitant steps toward him. He quickly snatched the chicken leg and sprinted away. Ben watched as the dog disappeared into the distance.

The next time Ben Park saw the dog again, he was eating with the rest of his friends at a convenience store. The group sat outside with the various food and drinks they had purchased. The rest of the Eungang were alert when they saw the dog growling upon being seen.
"Hungry again?" Ben unwrapped a sausage that he had intended to use for his ramen. He offered it to the dog.
"Ben, that dog seems very ferocious." Alex Go said, "We should keep our distance from it."
"Donald Na's just hungry." Ben tossed the sausage to the dog, who caught it in his mouth and immediately ran off again.
"Ben, did you just name the dog after our enemy who died last year?"
"He has the same hair and eye color as Donald," Ben said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "so it's gotta be him reincarnated."
"Big Ben, I'm pretty sure that's just a coincidence."
"Nope, he's definitely Donald Na!"

The next time Ben saw the dog, it was at school. There was a commotion in the hallway and when Ben and his friends went to see what was going on, they saw the dog surrounded by students. The dog was very aggressive and snarled and growled at any student that dared to come close. Once it saw Ben, it bolted over to him and began tugging at his sleeve.
"You want me to follow you, Donald?" Ben asked.
The dog nodded and barked. He continued tugging on Ben's sleeve until Ben started moving. The Eungang chased after Ben and the dog to an alley where another dog was. The dog was smaller and skinner. It had grey fur and pink eyes.
"Gray?" Ben knelt down and saw that the fried chicken and sausage he had given to Donald were next to Gray with barely any of it eaten. "It looks like you're sick. Come on, I'll bring you to the vet."
"Ben, that's not Gray." Ben's friends seriously thought that their leader was starting to lose it.
Nonetheless, they still followed Ben to Singil Vet. Dr. Kim took a look at Gray and after cleaning him up, she started giving him some antibiotics. "He'll need to stay overnight so we can keep an eye on his health."
Donald whined and climbed onto the exam table. He curled up next to Gray. Dr. Kim placed a bowl of water and kibble next to Donald and tried to encourage him to eat, but Donald shook his head and nudged the bowls closer to Gray instead.
"Donald, you gotta eat, too," Ben said.
Donald grabbed the pen and clipboard from Dr. Kim and carefully wrote out on the bottom of the page, "Gray needs it more."
"Oh my god," Alex exclaimed, "they really are Donald and Gray's reincarnations!"
"I told you that they were!"
Gray yawned and nuzzled closer to Donald before going back to sleep.
