As I Take Up My Quill 2

Summary:

Nearly three years after the final battle, Hermione Granger lives in quiet isolation, her life defined by grief and by her continued visits to Harry, who remains unresponsive at St. Mungo’s. When McGonagall offers her a teaching position at Hogwarts, Hermione must confront whether she is truly living—or merely existing in the shadow of loss. Encouraged by Luna and even Dobby, she returns to Hogwarts, where memories of war, love, and sacrifice linger in every corridor. As she steps back into the castle not as a student but as a professor, Hermione begins the difficult journey of rediscovering purpose, healing, and the possibility of a future beyond “That Day.”

As I take up my quill, it has been almost three years since the first book about the events leading up to and including the last battle to defeat the Dark Wizard Voldemort.

While the first book was received a flood of positive reviews, it was, I confess, mildly overwhelming due to the sheer volume of responses from wizards and witches alike. While I am truly grateful for the vast number of positive reactions to the story, I am equally sad there were several negative reactions to the book (thankfully none with bubotuber pus enclosed).

However, the time has come to tell you about the events that happened sometime after the first book was published. The Daily Prophet did its best to report on it afterwards, but they could not or did not include some of the more interesting details and facts that would have given readers a better understanding and grasp of the direness of what had happened.

So, let us start at the beginning…
