The mood was romantic, candles lit and petals scattered in the air. China sat at the edge of the bed, his jacket slipping off a shoulder, exposing skin that would make anyone drool. He was hoping the one he wanted would come. After all they did owe him a favor.
A knock sounded and China smiled as he called out, "come in, it's unlocked". The person opened the door and entered. America felt a sudden warmth in his face, staring at China. Gods above was his ex always this hot? Needing to distract himself, the flustered American brushed his blond hair out his eyes and set the plum blossoms in a vase he summoned.
"Y-you look nice China," America stammered as he approached. China reached out, gently running his clawed hands down America's face. "So beautiful my little eagle, can't help but come back," China crooned, stabbing his claws in. America's vision grew cloudly and heated as more poison seeped into his system. Yes he was all China's, so pliant in his hands. China didn't kill him for nothing, he was just showing his love what the world could really do.
China had shifted positions, letting the smaller America in his lap. Claws combed through America's hair as the man gazed at China with the most lovesick poisoned eyes he ever saw. Not even the humans he poisoned did this. 'How adorable', he thought, continuing to feed poison into America. America must be tripping, forgetting all the bad parts of his life and remembering only China. Yes China would be the only thing left in that broken feeble mind.
The candles had snuffed out by the time China dropped America's body. The man was a puddle of emotions, mumbling praises and promises for the man he thought was his savior. China stood up and America grabbed at his ankles, lust in his eyes. "Please... don't leave me" America rasped out, desperation in his eyes. China smiled and crushed America's hand with his boot.
"You disgust me, how pathetic you are to fall for my trap," China commented, "but that doesn't matter. You'll feel the warmth you so desperately seek". China left the room, leaving the drugged American on the ground. America looked around, limbs still heavy with the haze in his mind. He didn't notice the candle that started up again, how it tickled a curtain. The room was ablaze in seconds and America did feel warm.
The warmth was wonderful, making him feel as if he was being hugged by his father. The flames raged on, burning his skin but all his senses had been ruined by China. China did know what was best for him. How beautiful of him.
Then the roof collapsed, sending dust and ash everywhere.
A week later
China sat outside a cafe, sipping badly made coffee as he looked through a newspaper. His children would complain at how old fashioned he was but at least he wasn't America. The articles were the usual stuff. Just countries doing stupid shit as usual. China scoffed at some of the headlines. If he was allowed to use his poisons, he could fix things.
He wasn't given the power to have mind altering poisons for nothing, he had a destiny to right the world. He will save the world from capitalism, just as Soviet had instructed.
