What an odd finding. Nearly every continuous correction Edgar ran shared a feature absent in the prime timeline: a committed, romantic relationship between Mike and Michael Walters.
And, yes, Edgar had done his due diligence in checking for its existence in the current reality. Hours of video surveillance confirmed it.
They must have stood on a razor's edge, where the smallest change in detail sent Mike tumbling into Michael's arms. It was as if someone had fine-tuned the parameters of the universe in the exact shape to keep Mike monogamous.
As if they were in a continuous correction.
