It was getting late at night, Caitlyn and Vi were getting ready for a ballroom gala hosted by the Piltover Council. Vi was putting on her new jacket over the new crop top she had on. It was more of the fancier variety. Caitlyn had just finished putting on her fancy blue dress and earrings.
"And I thought I took forever, cupcake!" Vi would move her leg onto the bed so she can tie her boots "I will be out front, ok?" She asked Caitlyn
"Yeah yeah, I'll be right out. I just got to do one more thing." Caitlyn said as she went into the bathroom
Caitlyn closes the bathroom door and leans against the door. She was breathing heavily while deciding to walk forward. There was a small, pink box in the trash and as she was walking towards the sink. She picks up what is a pregnancy test– and it was positive.
"O-Oh god....Oh god. How is this possible? It's not possible at all. No no no..." Caitlyn would start breath heavily
"Caitlyn, we got to go!" Vi would yell from the bottom of the stairs
"I'm coming...!" Caitlyn would adjust herself "Fuck...fuck fuck." She was nervous about everything and how she was going to tell Vi
After sometime, Caitlyn and Vi would walk into the party together while holding hands. Caitlyn was trying to keep her cool while Vi was still unaware. She would smile as Mel waved at them. Caitlyn would wave back as she took the lead as her and Vi still held hands. She lets go and hugs Mel. Caitlyn would pull away as Vi would shake Mel's hand as she was wasn't that much of a hugger.
"Glad you two could make it." Mel would say as she had a drink in her hand
"We would have been here sooner, but Caitlyn took her sweet time getting ready." Vi said as she chuckled a bit
"Oh stop! I wasn't that bad.." Caitlyn said as she jokingly gave a Vi a nudge
"Jayce and Viktor are here as well–" Mel said before Caitlyn interrupted
"I need to talk to them." Caitlyn would say as she turned to Vi "Please mingle and try not cause a scene." She said to her while walking away to find Jayce and Viktor
"I always do, cupcake!" Vi said as she stood next to Mel as they both sipped their drinks
Caitlyn would walk around the party, talking to people as she was trying to find Jayce and Viktor. She still doesn't know how this is possible, in all fields that are scientific. Caitlyn saw Jayce talking to Viktor, she would rush over to them and got between them. She looked distraught and nervous.
"The three of us, we need to talk now." Caitlyn would say as she took Jayce's hand so they can talk in the office upstairs
As Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor went upstairs to the main office, Vi and Mel would be socializing. The two of them don't talk much, they only talk because they both known Caitlyn. Vi would cheers with Mel as they sip their drinks, looking around the party.
Caitlyn, Jayce, and Viktor would walk into the office. She closes the door behind them as they stand near the desk. She walks to them, pacing back and forth. Viktor just stood there as Jayce watched Caitlyn, his friend was walking around the room all nervous-like. Before Jayce could say anything, Caitlyn would interrupt him.
"I am pregnant." Caitlyn said as she stood in front of the window then turns to look at Jayce
Jayce was caught off guard by the sudden announcement, and Viktor would just lean against the desk with the cane in his hand.
"What–? How is that possible?" Jayce why ask Caitlyn as he looked back at Viktor
"Hm, may I share an idea?" Viktor would ask "Jayce told me what he created for your and Vi's....private time. We still don't know how the arcane or hextech really works. Maybe, just maybe the....device altered Vi's DNA." He would say as he gotten off the desk, walking around with his cane.
"No, no no....Oh god no.." Caitlyn was breathing heavily as she leaned against the window
"Caitlyn, you do have to tell Vi." Jayce said
"I know...!" Caitlyn would yell out
"Do you ladies still...have the device?" Viktor would ask as he walked next to Jayce
"You can say what it is– Hexstrap." Caitlyn would say to Viktor
"–Hexstrap. Do you ladies still have it?" Viktor would ask Caitlyn again
"Yes. Why?" Caitlyn would ask him
"We need to study the affected arcane tech to see what happened." Viktor would say
"I'll bring it by when I can." Caitlyn would say as she headed to the door "I'm going to find Vi and tell her." She would say, walking out of the office to find Vi
After Caitlyn walked out of the office and down the stairs, she would look around the party to find Vi. She has to tell her, tonight. Vi would be at bar drinking as Caitlyn came up behind her, tapping her on the shoulder. Vi turned around and smile, kissing her on the lips and pulls away.
"Hey Cupcake. Want a drink to–?" Vi said before being cut off by Caitlyn
"I have to tell you something. Lets get somewhere private." Caitlyn said as she held Vi's hand, leading her outside
"Ok ok– Whoa." Vi laughs a bit as Caitlyn pulls her outside
The two of them stood outside, Vi was standing in front of Caitlyn as she paced back and forth. She saw that Caitlyn was nervous, taking her hands and made her look at her, their eyes locked with one another.
"I have to tell you something, and I just hope you don't react too harshly." Caitlyn said as she sat down and Vi joined her
"Cupcake– what is it?" Vi asked her
"I took a test. I threw up this morning." Caitlyn said as she handed her the test "Vi...babe, the Hexstrap, the arcane altered DNA, our DNA and created life." She started to tear up "I am so scared..probably the most I have been in a long time...I'm pregnant." Caitlyn said as her hands were shaking, tears running down her face as it ruined the makeup.
"I-I...." Vi would stand up and walking forward a bit to get some space
"Are you mad...? Please don't be mad. Say something...!" Caitlyn would say to her
Vi would then then turn around and run to Caitlyn, hugging in her arms and not letting go of her. This made Caitlyn stop tearing up and hug Vi back, the two holding each other.
"I am not mad, never. I would never be at something like this. I promise." Vi said as she leaned her forehead on Caitlyn's as they embrace one another as they smile "We shall figure this out, together." She would smile
The two of them would hold hands and smile, laughing happily as the two of them will be parents. The two would head home, so they can truly process what happened. Once home, they would have dinner and go to bed. Caitlyn would lay in Vi's arms as she held her close throughout the night.
