Damian had been at the manor for almost two weeks. He'd met most of the inhabitants already but there seemed to be mentions of some he didn't seem to know, thought the others looked skeptical or reticent at their mention. Before coming here Ahki had warned him of the relationships in the family, though he did not know much about the more recent members, Ahki seemed to be correct on most accounts. There was also the matter of his newest brother, Umi had not seemed opposed to the idea, but she did have quite the soft spot for certain children; Damian had briefly met him, when he first arrived in Gotham, Peter had accompanied Ahki to pick him up. He had seemed interesting enough.
While in the league, Ahki had basically raised him, that helped build a lot of trust between them. Therefore, when Ahki had told him about his family in Gotham, he'd made assumptions on how they'd be, Ahki had warned him that his death would change how the others acted, at least to some extent; so to take his words with a grain of salt. What Ahki didn't know, was that Damian started building files on the members of the "Bat clan", as some aptly put it. They started innocent enough, what he thought of them because of Ahki's stories from his childhood, and the scarce news of the Waynes that reached the compound; they soon became more of a full-blown character sheet, filled with likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses; as well as the original aspects of their personality and attitude he got from his brother.
Peter was an outlier, he was the only one Damian didn't have a file on, he didn't have much to write on it anyway. He found out about Peter two weeks before coming to Gotham, Ahki was on a call with their mother and was telling her all about this kid he'd taken under his wing, about how the kid was becoming like a little brother to him. At first Damian had been skeptical, was this Peter guy trying to take his Ahki away from him? He did make Ahki a bit happier, but Jason was his Ahki, his big brother; he wouldn't be replaced. Umi and Ahki both calmed his suspicions soon though, Ahki explained that while Peter had become his little brother, Damian would always be his baby boy and littlest brother; and that now, Damian would have another big brother to protect him. Jason started telling him more about Peter after that, and when Ahki told Peter about him, Peter seemed to be really happy to have a little brother. He'd joined in to some of the calls he had with Ahki weekly, and they'd even introduced him and Umi to Aunt May, Pete's civilian aunt, she clicked with Umi immediately. So his family had grown quite a bit before he reached Gotham.
One night, he was going over his files after a very exciting call with Ahki and Peter, Pete was telling them about his new AI some Tony guy (that was the iron-man, right?) had built into a suit for him; Pete was trying to figure out a way to modify her, because it as a her apparently, and add her to his own suit, the one he'd made with Ahki. He wanted to make a suit with Ahki, but he'd said to wait until he was a bit older to start vigilante-ing. He had to make some adjustments to the document.
Bruce Wayne:
Alias: Batman
Age: 39
Role: Father.
Strengths: Great intellect and deduction skills, MMA, determination.
Weaknesses: Photophobia, chocolate ice-cream, bats, auto-destructive behavior
Thoughts: Complicated personality, quick to assumptions, hard headed, very calculating. He wasn't the best to Ahki, reason for his death and aversion for contact with the bats; seems to have improved in his treatment to his children, still a shitty father.
Alfred Pennyworth:
Alias: Agent A
Age: 66
Role: Family butler, pseudo-grandfather.
Strengths: Vast and diverse skill set, gun handling, tactical planning, composure.
Weaknesses: None
Thoughts: One of the few reasons Ahki even came back to Gotham, taught Ahki to cook. Culprit for the Robin II memorial case, acts detached to the rest, maintains professional courtesy to everyone. Does not have a no-kill rule.
Richard Grayson:
Alias: Nightwing
Age: 24
Role: Older brother, first son on father's side.
Strengths: Great flexibility, agility, a lot of charm.
Weaknesses: Overly emotional, easily distracted, impulsive.
Thoughts: Seems nice enough, wasn't the best brother to Ahki but looks to be overcompensating for it with Drake and I, it feels wrong how different he is now to how he was. He's very extravagant has a lot of energy, will tend to find him doing flips and tricks around the manor when visiting.
Barbara Gordon:
Alias: Oracle, Previously Batgirl
Age: 25
Role: Family friend, pseudo-sister to Ahki.
Strengths: Hacking and surveillance, eidetic memory, great strategist.
Weaknesses: Bound to wheelchair most of the time, severe PTSD,
Thoughts: Ahki greatly admires her, they weren't super close. Despite her disability she's incredibly strong, extremely smart — on par with father. Great hand with tech, especially hacking, might be able to learn something to help Peter. Is definitely hiding something (possibly someone) in her clock tower.
Timothy Drake:
Alias: Robin
Age: 17
Role: Older brother, third son on father's side (non-official).
Strengths: Somewhat competent detective, contingency making.
Weaknesses: Not great physical aptitudes, coffee, the superman clone, strength, walnuts and shellfish, Stephanie, possibly immunocompromised — neglected as a child (it shows).
Thoughts: Ahki's replacement, is not very strong, must make sure he does not end up a second dead robin.
Peter Parker:
Alias: Spider-man
Age: 15
Role: Older brother, "second son" on mother's side.
Strengths: Spider-sense (also known as Peter-tingle), healing factor, incredible physical aptitudes (proportional to a spider's), has no bones — flexible, exoskeleton type structure instead. Oranges.
Weaknesses: Cold, ethyl chloride (and some perfumes), mint, Parker luck, has some trauma related to a Skip Wescott (further investigation pending).
Thoughts: Very bubbly, incredibly smart and adaptive. Great instincts. Very easy to get attached to; though he is a meta, he must be protected at all costs. Very innocent and optimistic. Has an insatiable hunger for knowledge, very enthusiastic when training with them, fast learner. Goodat designing/making suits (simple). Has an unexplainable vendetta against oranges, his hatred for them may push him over the edge in a fight.
May Parker:
Alias: Aunt May
Age: 56
Role: Peter's aunt, great friend to Umi.
Thoughts: Very kind, accepted him and Ahki into the family immediately, gets along well with Umi. Worries a lot about them, but trusts them to tell her if anything happens, she works as a nurse so she patches Peter and Ahki up after patrol when in NY.
Stephanie ???:
Alias: Unknown, Robin?
Age: Seems to be around Drake's age
Role: Unknown
Strengths: Unknown
Weaknesses: Unknown
Thoughts: Do not mention, sore subject, possible tragic ending to another Robin? Seems she was close to Drake, big personality. A taboo like Ahki.
Damian closed his laptop with a sigh, he'd just finished digitalizing his notes on the others; but he was sure they would change the more he learned of them. But overall, he was glad to be part of this family.
