Chapter Text
For a pig Yaoguai who led a rather simple life, Pigsy did not for the life of him understand how his life had gotten this ridiculous. He was just a noodle shop owner and a dad to a hyperactive kid with a good heart.
He was ordinary.
So how did he get stuck with the monkey king binge eating his way through 6 bowls of noodles and counting, all because his ex wouldn't put up with his shit.
How did he keep getting dragged into this idiot's problems?
Through the mouthfuls of noodles being shoved into the moping simian's face, the chef barely understood the king's tale of how he and the six eared macaque had broken up/got divorced. He wasn't fully sure on which and didn't care enough to ask. His eye twitched when Wukong finished explaining what was said during the argument that had ended his relationship.
"He asked, is war all that matters to you? and you said what else is there?!" His voice may have raised a little near the end in frustration. It was difficult not to start shouting at the fool of a king. He had promised Mk that he would try to cut the monkey some slack after the memory scroll incident.
It was getting really hard to keep that promise.
He may not like the six eared macaque, but he couldn't help but have sympathy after hearing a snippet of what he had to put up with from son wukong.
"It was dumb, I know..." The king's childish whine made him visibly twitch.
"You should write a book, how to lose your mate in five syllables or less." He quipped before he could stop himself.
Well... too late to take it back now.
And judging from the look on wukong's face, he was not going to hear the end of it from mk for a while.
