Work Text:
Yoongi was ethereal. Sure, he was known as the bad boy of the school; it wasn't out of the ordinary to find him in a fist fight down the hall, or sitting in the office getting lectured by the principal. Yet there was just something about Min Yoongi that left Park Jimin wonderstruck.
It was the way he talked.
Jimin's heart never failed to skip a beat or two whenever the latter spoke in his sleepy, slurred voice; a shiver would run down his spine at its low and husky tone. Jimin also witnessed and relished the rare moments of Min Yoongi laughing- it was music to his ears. The sound of an angel. Liquid gold.
It was his eyes.
Yoongi's eyes were a spiraling storm of warm stardust, never losing a tint of emotion, despite his stoic and cold demeanor. Like a book there was always something interesting to read in his eyes; contentment, amusement, depression, exhaustion, the list goes on and on. Yoongi never really smiled. But when he did, his eyes would light up in the brightest of ways, a supernova bursting in a fit of colors, illuminating the rest of him in such a wonderous way that left Jimin absolutely breathless.
Then, there was his hair.
Yoongi dyed his hair often, yet mint green seems to be his favorite look. It was Jimin's favorite look on him, too. It fit Yoongi- soft, but bold. Yoongi sometimes let Jimin touch his hair. Jimin wished those moments would last forever, carding his fingers through mint hair; it was messy, damaged, but Jimin didn't care. Not one bit.
He loved it.
Yoongi was beautiful in every way to Jimin.
"You seem out of it today," Yoongi nudged Jimin from his thoughts. Oh, Jimin looked up. They were currently in the library studying for an upcoming test. He finally turned to Yoongi after processing everything, flashing his usual smile.
"I've never been better."
And Jimin kissed him. Almost immediately, he retracted, covering his mouth and blurting out apologies.
That is, until he realized something.
Yoongi was smiling. The biggest smile Jimin's ever seen him have. Jimin found himself falling in love all over again. He could feel his heart squeezing at the sight. He couldn't help but kiss him again.
Because Jimin could read it in his eyes-
Yoongi loved him too.
