Chapter Text
It was almost lunchtime after the practice with the boys when their manager suddenly called for a group meeting for their photoshoot next week.
"Is everyone doing well?" the manager walks in with tray of drinks.
"Yes!" they all said bowing to him as a sign of respect.
"Alright, I just wanted to make it clear to everyone what's going to happen next week." He started off.
"Oh yeah, it's photo shooting next week, right?" Sunghoon asked.
"Yup, that's why I want you guys to be in your best condition." The manager said.
"On Monday to Wednesday, it will be in a forest, while on Thursday to Saturday, it will be on the beach." He said.
"Wow, the beach!" Ni-ki jumped.
"Are we going to swim?" Jungwon asked.
"Yup, in some scenes, you guys need to be in the water."
Sunoo froze upon hearing the new information. He stayed quiet the whole time, which caught the attention of the eldest. He pulled to the side to make sure he was okay.
"Sunoo? You okay there?" Heeseung asked, caressing the younger's cheek.
"O-oh uh, heeseung hyung yeah I'm fine don't worry/," He said as he flashed a smile.
Heeseung didn't look convinced at all because the smile that Sunoo gave was very forced.
"Is everyone clear with the instructions for next week?" The manager asked.
"Yes!" They all said except Sunoo.
"Okay goodluck partice I'll get going now" The manager said waving his goodbye.
"Manager!" Sunoo shouted which made his members and the manager look at him.
"Yes, Sunoo?" The manager asked tilting his head slightly.
"Uhm can I talk to you for a second?" Sunoo asked.
"Sure, what is it?" The manager asked.
"Privately." Sunoo said which made his manager make an oh mouth.
"Sure right this way." He led the younger outside the room.
"What was that about?" Ni-ki curiously asked.
"Maybe Sunoo had some questions about next week?" Jake said.
Ni-ki just shrugs his shoulder not knowing what it was about and headed back to practice.
*A few minutes later*
The door opened to a bloodshot and puffy-eyed Sunoo who was weakly walking back to the room with their manager behind them. A bunch of "Hyung!" and "Sunoo!?" were heard throughout the room as they panicked seeing their sunshine crying. At first, they looked at their manager with a glare assuming that he was the reason behind this but the manager noticed the looks they gave him and put his hands up as a sign that he wasn't.
"It wasn't my fault guys I promise but please take care of him for now cause I really need to go." The manager said and quickly left.
"Hyung? Is there something wrong? Did the manager scold you?" Jungwon was the first to ask but then Sunoo started to cry and felt his knees get weak so he sat on the floor hugging his legs while his members looked at him in worry.
"Okay guys go back to practice I'll deal with this." Jungwon said.
"But Hyung-" Ni-ki was about to say but Jungwon cut him of off.
"Go, please." Jungwon said with authority making the others glance at each other and motioned for one another to head back to practice.
As practice continued the others didn't even try to hide that they were glancing back and forth from the mirror to their fellow members probably because Sunoo was now hugging Jungwon while they were sitting on the floor. There were hints of jealousy from their eyes but they tried not to mind it and just focus on practicing.
Jungwon was now patting Sunoo's back to calm down the elder.
"Do you want to talk about it hyung?" Jungwon said as Sunoo shook his head.
"Alright, can I see your face?" Jungwon said holding his hyungs face in his hands.
Sunoo lifts his face to face the younger.
"I'm sorry jungwonie" Sunoo said wiping his tears.
"Shh it's alright hyung" Jungwon said getting a hanky from his pocket and wiping Sunoo's tears.
"Have you calmed down?" Jungwon asked which Sunoo nodded to.
"Alright, do you want to head home early?" Jungwon asked.
"No, it's alright. I'll just watch you guys practice for a moment before going back to practice." Sunoo said.
"Are you sure? It's fine if you just watched us if you don't want to go home but don't practice for now please." Jungwon said and Sunoo nodded.
"Okay" Sunoo replied and with that Jungwon headed back to practice leaving Sunoo in the corner making sure to check up on him once in a while.
"Sunoo? Water?" Sunoo glanced up to see Heeseung holding his water bottle.
Sunoo gladly accepted smiling at his hyung before giving a small 'thank you '
*A few hours later*
It was finally time to go home and everyone was already tired from all the practicing. Everyone was quiet until they heard Ni-ki and Jake cooing over something. The other went up to them and it was a sleeping sunshine. His lips were pouted while his nose and eyes were still slightly red from all the crying from earlier.
"I volunteer!" Sunghoon said making the others look at him.
"Yah! You just said that you can't even walk by yourself earlier so how can you even carry him? I volunteer instead!" Jay said.
"Bro you literally tripped over nothing earlier how can we trust you with carrying Sunoo??" Jake said.
"I volunteer by the way." Jake said.
While the other three were bickering they didn't notice that Sunoo was already carried by someone else who is already at the door.
"Hey, Alvin and the chipmunks!" A shout was heard from the door. It was Heeseung already carrying Sunoo.
They all looked at him with their mouths opened.
"That's unfair hyung you didn't even volunteer!" Jake said.
"Well, instead of volunteering, you guys should've picked him up already. Now look, he's sleeping soundly with me already." Heeseung showed the sleeping Sunoo he was carrying bridal style.
The two maknaes who were beside Heeseung were just laughing.
"Come on let's go." Their leader said opening the door for Heeseung since he was carrying Sunoo.
"Hey! Why didn't the two of you volunteer?" Sunghoon asked the two maknaes as they were walking to the elevator.
" Well I already got a long hug from hyung and that's fine for me" Jungwon said.
" Mine's simple, it's because I'll be the one sleeping with Sunoo hyung in the end." Ni-ki said while the three gave up and stayed quiet until they arrived at the van.
"Fine, you useless shits you can sit beside Sunoo. Is that fine with you?" Heeseung said with a sigh since he noticed that the three were quiet. He saw how their eyes lighted up and how they excitedly nodded their heads.
"Definitely!"
"Of course!"
" Yes!"
"Shh! Be quiet. Sunoo hyung might wake up look." Ni-ki said pointing at the squirming figure that was carefully placed in the back.
All of them adored Sunoo and they finally went on their way home. The original plan of the three was to watch over Sunoo but they also ended up sleeping through the car ride from exhaustion. Jungwon and Ni-ki took plenty of pictures to show them the next day just to tease them.
They finally arrived and after Heeseung carried Sunoo to the bathroom it was Ni-ki who was the one who bathed him and clothed him like a baby. It was already normal for Ni-ki to do this because he always went to Onsen's back in Japan.
After Ni-ki bathed and clothed him he dried his hair and even took care of his skincare before they went to sleep because he knew that his hyung would nag about not being able to do his skincare before bed. And yes, Sunoo was still asleep even after all that.
