Summary
Sunoo was sure Riki’s interest in him wouldn’t last. He was sure that, eventually, Riki would grow tired— tired by his habits, by his thoughts, by the lack of energy due to his nutrition and disordered routine. Sunoo knew Riki would realize how difficult it is to love someone with a sick mind, let alone befriend them. Riki wouldn’t last, he wouldn’t be able to.
Yet Riki never gave up. From the second he first laid eyes on Sunoo, something had kept him close. He was sure there was much more to this boy than what he allowed others to see—and Riki was determined to uncover it.
He was ready to break through the walls Sunoo had spent a long time building.

Summary
If only he was a little braver, he would’ve put himself up for slaughter if it meant keeping Sunoo satisfied. If only his heart can muster up the courage needed to admit that there is something to be fixed, something that can be removed from the equation in order to make everything right. If only he isn’t the Yang Jungwon that Kim Sunoo knows.
But that’s the thing, he thinks: there’s no going back. There is no return from darkness because the lights already burned out. There is no flame nor spark. There is only the altar abandoned and a home undone.
So, as Jungwon continues to watch Sunoo try his best to break his heart, Jungwon lets him. He gives up the fight because there is no fight in the first place. He had always been dancing on the palm of Sunoo’s hand, and now that the show is over, they both know that it is time to let go.
And so he does.
Yang Jungwon will do anything the love of his life asks of him, and Kim Sunoo will do anything that is good for the love of his life.
