“Huh?” Shoyo shifts up onto his elbow, his gleaming eyes meet hers. “Oh, baby, no! Asa-chan--can I call you Asa-chan?”
It spreads in her like warm tea across the tongue, she shivers with how she adores it. Adores him, and is adored--and it is all so much, she breathes through it, she gives a tiny tentative nod.
Shoyo’s smile breaks like an eggshell, with brilliant yellow inside. He giggles, “Asa-chan! No, no, you did so good, you were so pretty! And besides,” he says, nearly conspiratorial, “sex is just like volleyball! It takes lots and lots of practice.”
Asahi is an anxious, fluttering creature. Shoyo cares for her all the same.
