Days after Lawrence's disappearance, the town was once again in a tizzy as rumors spread of a giant beast stalking the countryside and forests near the town during the night. Where the beast would go through, many carriages would disappear or even turn up ripped to shreds along with whatever (or even whoever) was inside. Many who got away described it as a giant, black, bear-like creature with the head of a lion, horns of a ram, wings of a crow, tail of a beaver, and many sharp spikes throughout its body.
Some have called the beast the Cobblewhomp.

Not much is known about Sonic's childhood. Every time the question of where he came from comes up, Sonic either changes the subject or refuses to say anything. Some say his childhood was spent roaming around, never really settling down in one place for too long. Others say that the Hero of Mobius had humble origins and his childhood home was some ordinary village in the middle of nowhere, hence his love for traveling. Whatever the version, it's a chapter of Sonic's life that remains a mystery.
And, honestly, Sonic would prefer to keep that particular chapter of his life closed for good.
But when news of Eggman stirring up trouble on a place called Christmas Island arrives, Sonic is forced to face his past along with his friends who discover that there's more to their cheerful, thrill-seeking, friend than they originally thought.
Memories are relived and demons are unleashed as Sonic and co. soon realize that Eggman might not be the real villain on Christmas Island.
