“Are you brain damaged?” Eraser practically demands after a long, drawn out moment.
“Not any more than usual,” Izuku reassures him as earnestly as he can manage. Occasional head trauma tends to be a part of the job description after all.
“You realize I’m holding you captive don’t you?” Eraser sounds more exasperated than Izuku feels is necessary at the moment. “You’re aware that you’re under heavy quirk suppressants and at my mercy right?”
“Yeah, well, you’ve been here for six years and you don’t even have a couch,” Izuku can’t help but point out. “So, really, which one of us is actually the issue here?”

Summary
Izuku doesn't know why the day keeps resetting. He doesn't know why he's trapped on campus, or why there's no phone reception, or why Aizawa and Shinsou keep losing their memories of the Saturdays they've already lived, while Izuku remains constantly, painfully aware.
But he does know this: Aizawa and Shinsou keep dying, over and over again, in more brutal and creative ways. And it's his job to save them.

One raised brow later, Shouta remembered there was a question he was supposed to answer. He muttered something, hoping Hizashi would let it go.
“And now with words this time?” Hizashi said a small smirk dancing on his lips, and Shouta huffed.
“I said there wasn’t a guy,” he didn’t, but this was close enough. “I just-”
What was he supposed to say? Got distracted because I saw you through the window during my nightly pass by your apartment and I was overcome by the need to feel how soft your hair were ?
“...Got distracted,” he finished lamely, keeping the rest of that explanation to himself.
“By what?” Hizashi sounded incredulous, tilting his head slightly, another strand of hair falling onto his face.

“Keep it,” Shouta says, waving him off. “Just bring me the mug back by the end of the day.”
Hizashi could kiss him. Already, he’s feeling more awake, just after a few sips. And sure, he had already wanted to kiss Shouta, had wanted to ever since Shouta had thoroughly kicked his ass at their first year sports festival. He’d fallen very swiftly and very inadvisably in love, which he’d channeled into an aggressive pursuit of friendship and vowed never to speak of.
That doesn’t mean he can’t still be grateful, though. He doesn’t have time to dwell on it, not with Aoki probably already waiting, so he settles for throwing, “You’re the best, Shou, thanks!” over his shoulder on his way out the door.

Summary
The first time it happened, it was just a little white lie.
Maybe a grey one. Dark grey at best.
Midoriya landed himself in a hospital out of their prefecture after an internship gone wrong (a tradition at that point) and the receptionist, not recognizing either Shouta or Midoriya, refused to let him see the kid.
“I’m his father,” Shouta said, the frustration and tiredness making his tongue slip.
