Summary
But that was the problem. Neil, the hotels, the shows, the sex – none of it was supposed to ever be serious.
It was just an unfortunate reality that now he had to deal with Neil looking at him like that. Not sad, not hurt, just a shuttered up expression. A blank space that had been practiced to the point of perfection over the years spent in an abusive household. Andrew would know – Neil had told him all about his past over the eight months they had been hooking up.
It meant nothing.
“My bad. I know not many people know about this, I should have thought that through before-”
“There is no this”
The expression smoothed out even further, and Andrew felt a knife twist in his gut. It was Neil’s turn to scoot over more, and Andrew watched as the chasm between them grew another couple of inches. A little more and Neil would be out of reach.

The monsters are in a band, Neil plays exy with Jean, and Kevin is the Foxes biggest fan.

Summary
Flashing lights thrum to the beat of the music, casting intermittent shadows over Neil's silhouette. Andrew watches him where he leans against the railing. Observing every angle, every detail, every movement. His heart is a betrayal, sending awful warmth to every inch of his body. It's then that Andrew makes a decision. He wants him. All of him.
It's with the taste of whiskey on their tongues, and want on their lips, that Andrew and Neil try something new.
Or: Andrew bottoms for the first time.

Summary
This is the story of Neil and Andrew post “The King’s Men” and spans 12 years. It’s about their sexual journey – every baby steps, missteps, and gigantic leaps. It is also (and perhaps more importantly) the journey of how they stay committed throughout it all, made visible in the little things, and bigger, grander gestures. Most of this is a mix of canonical facts and my own take on their future.
A few of the scenes include: the night following the championship game, Andrew allowing Neil to get him off, Neil getting fucked for the first time, the handcuffs scene, Andrew moving to a new city while Neil has to stay at Palmetto for his last year, Andrew bottoming, Nicky’s wedding, and Andrew and Neil’s public coming out far, far in the future, followed by a crazy Fox reunion.
Content warnings and trigger warnings in the notes of every chapter.

Which secret will destroy him first?

Summary
Neil was the pervasive lie Andrew foolishly allowed himself to indulge. A person who would stay? Fairytale. It wouldn’t last.
Forevers didn’t exist for him.
With graduation on the horizon, Andrew leaves Neil before Neil can leave him. But after a year, he starts to wonder if maybe he was wrong. Maybe he can have it all.
