Fics I recommend, sorted into different themes.
I do not promise “perfect” stories. (Not even the ones marked with ⭐️.) There are different reasons why I might add a fic to my recommends lists. Some might start rough, be a touch clunky, or have errors. But I’m sharing them because I think they are worth recommending.
Always check the tags. I read things across pretty much all spectrums. Just because I normally write fluffy/soft things doesn't mean everything I rec is going to be so as well! Obviously some might have elements I’m not into or find uncomfortable too.
Emojis always mean good things! (Or neutral things that I might sort for.) Not having an emoji doesn’t mean the opposite, it just means it didn’t get a sticker - possibly because I haven’t read it since creating the emoji code(s) that apply or because what it excels at doesn’t have one. Don’t read too much into it. 👻

“Pei Ming?”
“Yes, Your Highness?”
He was smiling. “I hope you find someone who wants to know how you like your tea.”
It was a nice sentiment. Pei Ming nodded. “Thank you, Your Highness.”
He was left with his books and his thoughts. He never thought of himself as someone capable of devotion.
Maybe an old dog could learn new tricks, after all.————————————————————————
Or: Pei Ming has a large sex library. He also learns how to sew. There is a lot of sex talk involved. It’s sweeter than it seems.

Officially, Lily Evans was taking a well-deserved break after completing her first day of class assignments. Unofficially, she had gone insane. Round the bend. Completely barmy.
Because there was a crack in the wall of her dorm room, and it was taunting her.
“Potter,” The fissure said, no louder than a whisper.
She groaned, and rolled over on her bed, smooshing her face into the satin red pillow. Of course she wouldn’t be able to escape him, not even within the safety of her dorm.
“Potter!” The rift said, a little louder.
“Leave me alone!” Lily lifted her head to yell at the wall. “I’ve cracked,” She whispered, giggled, then groaned again. Against her brain’s wishes, her body got off the bed and knelt in front of the defect. “I don’t care how fit he got over the summer, stop talking to me about Potter!” She told the seam. Like a sane person.
To make matters worse, the crack talked back.

So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
