Lance let out a sigh, the inside of his cheek still between his teeth. “I’m okay Nando, I promise,” he said, finally letting his eyes go to Fernando, still holding his hands ever so gently, although the mood that was there not five minutes ago was gone and forgotten.

So the only logical thing Lando can do is lie. This whole thing would have been so much easier if Oscar didn't love being his pretend boyfriend so much.
