Run if you must, but know that he is relentless. Pray for salvation, for his presence brings only doom. To meet his eyes is to stare into the abyss of death itself, devoid of any trace of life.
May those who encounter the Bloodied King find a path to safety, for his reign brings only terror and despair. Let the heavens show mercy upon us all, for none can escape the grasp of the king who burns like the sun.

After the fight with Lady bone demon, Wukong starts isolating himself. And things go down hill from there, lady bone demon may be no more in the physical realm, but she had been with Wukong in the mental realm when he was unconscious, and what's even worse it's mating and care taking season. now with new found powers, a ex rival he wants, and the urge to mother hen Mk rising every fucking day can Wukong get himself together before another war breaks out, he doesn't think he has enough sanity in him to play the hero anymore.

MK had been visiting Macaque on and off for weeks following the Lady Bone Demon’s defeat. He would drop off noodles from Pigsy’s and a few doodles, occasionally managing to chat with the prickly shadow demon before heading to the mountain.
And before long, he began to relay the shadow monkey’s downward spiral, weak in the wake of the spring season.
Like it or not, the shadow monkey was under his rule. And as his king, Sun Wukong couldn’t let him suffer through the season alone.
Or- Macaque's heatsick powers develop a will of their own, his shadows manifesting into the only thing their master can think about during springtime.
