The diabetes does not have to be canon, and should be somewhat realistic. Thoughtful insertion of the illness into the world building and characterization is appreciated. Can be any genre or fandom, except RPF. See the collection’s FAQ section for more details regarding further specifics, type 2, non-diabetic hypoglycemia, etc because this section got too long.
This is NOT a collection for fluff fics misusing the diabetes tag.

This fic contains some medical inaccuracies, mostly confusing symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia (such as making extreme thirst and dehydration the significant symptom of a low bg and writing about correct glucagon use in a very confusing way), although I was pleased to see most of the reviewers politely corrected this. Bookmarking it to this collection because I think some readers will definitely enjoy it.
