Summary
The Safety Commission decides to host a gala to mend relations between the public and heroes as well as raise funds for reparations for the city. Shouta doesn't care too much until he finds out he can win a date to the gala with his favorite hero and best friend, Present Mic.
He's pretty sure the likelihood of winning with a single entry is slim.
So Shouta grabs a handful. Actually, it's more than a handful. Maybe too many. If someone bought this many entries for a chance to date him, he would be livid, and would probably assume they were some erratic, disturbed fan. He swallows his pride and hesitates for a moment before throwing the stack on the counter.

Summary
Birthdays, shooting stars, Tanabata are all opportunities to make wishes, and Hizashi's made the same wish for the past fifteen years — for his best friend to see him in the same light he sees him, and feel the blooming warmth of love he feels for Shouta.
"So what'd you wish for?" Hizashi asks.
"If I tell you, it won't come true," Shouta huffs.
"There's no way you actually believe that."
"And what if I do?"
"Because you're not the type to even believe in wishes. Y'know, I'm pretty sure the whole can't-say-or-it-won't-come-true thing is what private people tell nosy people to keep them out of their business."

“Shouta?” Hizashi said quietly. From the clouded over look in Shouta’s eyes Hizashi could tell he was dreaming but he couldn’t imagine what about that would cause this kind of reaction. Hizashi could count on one hand the amount of times he’d seen Shouta cry.
“Hizashi, please!” Shouta called again, and Hizashi’s heart squeezed painfully in his chest. He walked over to the bed and crawled into the center, sitting in front of Shouta like he’d done the first time he found him dreaming.

He turns the doorknob and pushes it open, going only inch by inch, still feeling tense, ready to have the blond jump out at him at any moment. When there’s a big enough crack to see into the room, though, the sight in front of him has him quickly thrusting the door the rest of the way open.
“Hi-zashi…” he breathes out, unable to stop his eyes from widening, from gliding over every delectable inch of skin lying across their bed.

Hizashi has been trying to get the transfer students’ attention for three weeks now without any luck. He’s tried everything. Persistent hellos, lending him his eraser, sending notes (Shouta would pocket without opening), he even started getting to school earlier and earlier once he realized Shouta was always the first to show up. And it still felt like he was at the same level as the rest of the class with him. He had heard that tensions between the general studies and hero classes were tight, however Shouta was one of them now. If it was him, he would be ecstatic to meet a new fleet of young hero hopefuls. That’s twenty new friends! Or at least media allies. To his dismay, Shouta had shown little interest outside of anything that WASN’T hero work. His combat skills were up there with his even though he didn’t have as much experience as the rest of them. Hizashi was starting to get annoyed, frankly. Which had lead to him batting around Shouta more during 1 v 1 trainings. At levels that teetered the edge of academically appropriate and irresponsible. He needed to get the frustration out somehow!
