      Keep your eye on this one!

      It's such a fun read. Kakashi is a BAMF in the story, potentially overpowered, but the story plays it off well. A great combination of indulgence and plot. Kakashi's loyalty and love for the people around him works well with One Piece characters. (Be warned, I haven't seen One Piece in almost 10 years. So...... I am not the best judge if someone is acting OC.)

    The crux of the matter is that Kakashi’s old. By the time he finally gives up the hat, he’s nearly forty and growing older, and while he’s faced death too many times to still remember to fear it, he certainly thinks about it. He can’t help it. He blames the Nidaime — staring at Senju Tobirama’s reanimated face reminds Kakashi of everything that will die with him: his clan, their history, an entire generation. The realization leaves him unsettled, and as his body starts to ache more and more, he finds himself wishing for a world in which he isn’t so alone.

    Or, Kakashi returns to the Hatake compound in an attempt to speak with his ancestors and promptly forgets that the Hiraishin is, above all else, an experimental time/space jutsu. By activating it, he finds himself in a world not quite like his own.

    Maybe he shouldn’t have pushed one of his more volatile students quite so far while playing as Sukea. One moment, he was enjoying a final game of teasing his face before passing the Hokage hat to Naruto; the next, he was in the past, draped in oversized clothes that now felt more like a tent than an outfit.

    It wasn’t ideal, but he’d survived worse. His plan was simple: step into his old life, lay low, and figure out a way back to his proper timeline, even if it was the long way. Except... it seemed he hadn’t displaced his younger self. Instead, there were two Kakashis now, and they had to adapt.

    The younger Kakashi, sharp-eyed and prickly as ever, clearly wasn’t thrilled by the intrusion. But older Kakashi wasn’t too worried. After all, he’d survived his students—adorable little brats who’d outgrown their charm and turned into forces of nature. Compared to them, his younger self was manageable.

    Prickly or not, this kid might even be fun to mess with while Kakashi figured out how to navigate this unexpected hiccup in his retirement plan.

      Kakashi kinda goes back in time, as he gets visions of canon Kakashi. As a result, the plot quickly deviates from canon. For one, Kakashi gets to keep his family and even expands it as he gets older. And Danzo dies early! It's great!

      Good blend of dramatic fight scenes,humor, and a teenage Kakashi.

    "We're going to be alcoholics by the time we're thirty," Sokka sighed.

    "You think we'll live to be thirty?" Zuko asked, honestly thrilled. Sokka had pretty good instincts. Perhaps Zuko should reevaluate his long term goals. He could start by having long term goals.

    A more likely alternative was that Sokka was just a hopeless optimist. It just went to show, you never truly saw another man until you stood shoulder to shoulder against a fleet of war balloons intent on raining death upon the city you loved.

     

    Zuko was just a normal guy with normal interests. He liked theatre, burglary, crotchety ostrich horses, watching the Blind Bandit crush her opponents in a glorious display of skill and violence... just your standard banished prince things. It wasn't his fault he kept stumbling into rebellions and uncovering long-buried secrets. Fine, maybe freeing the prisoners was on him, but he was completely innocent of all other treason. Zuko was his father's loyal son. He'd never betray his nation.

     

    Or:
    Uncle Iroh took a more creative approach to fostering Zuko's appreciation of other cultures. Now it's everyone's Problem.

      Kakashi is back in time with his childhood team during the Third Shinobi War. A great emphasis is placed on building bonds with people mini-Kakashi neglected in canon, like Obito and Tsunade.

      I like the dynamic with Obito. The boy really doesn't like Kakashi, and low-key, Kakashi doesn't like him either. Yet they work together to save the day!

It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-

     

    So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.

     

    It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:

    “ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

    Satoru lives weathering the past and the future. His objectives are still the same (change Jujutsu Society, find allies, don’t let rotten traditionalists on seats of power, ignore Suguru’s memory), and they are hard to do.

    His only ally is seven years old.

    Shoko never goes beyond what’s required of her and he’s not bitter about that. Not at all. Yaga-sensei is a double agent these days and Nanami wants to be a white-collar worker. Ijichi is Ijichi.

    He lives in a routine he once swore to never follow. Satoru is resilient, though. He can exorcise any Cursed Spirit even if he hasn't slept in days.

    His routine is disrupted when people are abducted and then returned without memories. But, they are unharmed. It occurs for days.

    Satoru is the only one who can see how the sky changed when it all started.

    There are no leads until Utahime goes missing.

    Satoru lives looking only at the past and the future.

    He’s forced to focus on the present after he makes a Binding Vow with an ancient fox.

     

    Maybe he should have thought about that Binding more because what’s he supposed to do when his new ward is a freaking ninja?

      Absolutely amazing political drama. Snape is pulling triple duty, trying his best to manipulate both sides for his and Harry's safety. Also, I appreciate the MILD bashing of characters. It feels deserved, not cartoonish like in other stories.
