John Dory did everything in his power to stay where he was needed. With his brothers but, turns out more Trolls needed him too. When the tunnels collapsed during the great escape it separated three waves of escaping trolls. The first wave with King Peppy made it through and left everyone else behind. So much for no troll left behind. The second wave barely escaped. And the third wave? Best to look to the ground underneath your feet...

Summary
Branch was an outcast. He knew that, and he pretty much excepted it. He's been on his own for the most part since his grandmother died, the only one who cared for him was his adoptive father, Sky Toronto. The man cared and loved Branch as his own flesh and blood, and Branch felt the same. And while he missed his brothers dearly, he found it better to believe them to be dead rather than just hoping they would come back some day.
Branch was the village outcast with only one person to consider family. That is, until a bunch of little trollings start following him around, calling him 'Daddy'. He has no idea how he managed to become a father to five little trollings, but he figures that since they won't leave him alone, he might as well adopt them. After all, how hard can fatherhood be?

Summary
What if Branch and Poppy hadn't fallen in love in the sequence of the films. What is Poppy had gotten to understand and get know Branch in his Bunker days, while he was grey. What if she had gotten to understand his sweet personality behind his closed off exterior?
Poppy gets lock in with Branch on a rainy day and gets to see another side to him. She begins to view him in a different way.......a romantic way. Suddenly, she can't help but let thoughts of him preoccupy her mind.
