“Okay,” the wolf took a breath and looked like she was steeling herself for something, before looking back up and meeting the brunette’s gaze, “Okay,” Another breath, “Wednesday, I’m going to send you something. I need you to not open it until my plane takes off, okay?”
Wednesday’s mind raced, wondering what the cryptic request could possibly mean. It was rare for the wolf to speak in such a way, more prone to overexplanations and oversharing.
“Why?” She asked simply, brown eyes boring into blue.
“I just,” Enid closed her eyes, “I need you to do this for me Willa,” the hands around Wednesday’s tightened, “Please.”

Enid and Wednesday are graduating from Nevermore and parting ways for the summer. Enid sends Wednesday an audio file to listen to once her flight takes off, trying to sing what she can't say. -
