The sky above Nezha is blue. Very blue. Soft, gentle, baby blue. Fluffy white clouds float past his vision. They look elegant and beautiful, and Nezha wishes he could touch them. One hand reaches up, though he doesn’t recall telling it to, but falls back down. The clouds are too far away for him to reach.
He feels himself growing weaker as the seconds tick by. His energy is being sapped away as fast as the blood is draining from his allegedly immortal veins.

The inevitable result of having no teammates to ride herd on was that there is no one around to veto his bad ideas either. Sasuke cuts it closer than he should with Ichibi-Shukaku, hoping that a portal would open up with an exasperated Shikako on the other side at the last moment... But it never happens.
This isn’t Sasuke’s first brush with time travel, but everything is harder when you’re alone. The Stars are different, the way home is shut; to make a new one he must navigate the blood feud with the Senju, survive the Uchiha clan politics, and not drown in cat fur or summon feathers.
