Summary
As they pull away from the parking lot, Clark finally drops his hand after waving for two minutes straight, Darla's hand and Freddy's cane still sticking out the window as they turn the corner, "What a lovely family."
"Hnn," Batman grunts. Clark's spent enough time around Bruce to know this one means he agrees.
"So," Superman sighs, throwing an arm around Batman's shoulder, making the two of them stumble forward slightly, "Do you want to sign my petition to officially move Billy to the Justice League?"
(There is something about Shazam that Clark really doesn't get, until he does.)

Summary
Selina faintly recalled hearing something about Bruce Wayne taking in a young boy, freshly orphaned, a few months back. She remembered hoping to a God she didn’t believe in that, for the boy’s sake, Wayne was nothing like some of the men she saw at the club; the ones that had an eye for a younger prize and fewer qualms about how they got what they wanted.
A dawning sense of horror and distant grief gripped her body. It seemed her frail hopes had been heard, but as usual, she’d been hoping for protection from the wrong thing.Aka what if Bruce had already taken in Dick before the events of The Batman?

Summary
They stared at each other; the Batman’s black cowl obscuring the sweat that dripped from his forehead, drenching him in a silent cold dread, and the man with his awkward gait stepping to the side, nearer and closer, his hands fumbling over the rifle in realization of his clear advantage. He reloaded his weapon in a series of clumsy clicks, his eyes darting from the metal in his hands to the man who clung to the metal below him, dangling above the impending watery wreckage of Gotham.
Even with his glasses, he could not see beyond the suit of Batman.
He needed the mask: the freedom from the chains and expectations of the manor, the vengeance it allowed in the twilight, the wall it erected between the mask and Selina Kyle, preventing her from drawing too near.
Laying on the catwalk, the mask suffocated him. He needed to breathe.
