After spending years crafting the perfect public image, Kim Taehyung is about to flush all of that down the drain, metaphorically, when he is caught leaving the infamous 'Seven Minutes in Heaven' closet during a party with one of the least popular jocks he knows and ex-best friend, Jeon Jeongguk.
Panicked at the thought of losing everything he loves dearly and desperate to keep his perfect social media persona, he decides to lie and say that they're dating and very much in love which is very, very far from the truth.
Years of unresolved angst and feelings unravel as Taehyung and Jeongguk learn to get closer to each other all over again.

The whistle signals the start of the point but Taehyung doesn’t move. He takes a second longer to look at Jeongguk, to remember how he looks on the court. This is the last time he’ll get to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him. They’re running out of time, but it's not over yet. One more point. The squeaks of shoes against the floors finally push him into action.
As he sees the ball make it over the net, he turns to Jeongguk with a promise.
“Always, baby.”
