Namjoon’s door spits him out like a great, dark mouth as he embarks on his frantic search for Taehyung. Footprints meander from the porch all the way to the edge of the forest, where they disappear. Namjoon stops cold. Odd. Perhaps these footprints belong to someone else? Taehyung isn’t accustomed to their winters. He’s smart enough not to brave the wilderness on his own. What would he even want with the barren woods?
That much could excuse Namjooon from continuing his search. He might abandon the trail here and look for help in the morning. That, or he could venture on and probably freeze to death along with whoever’s trail led him here. Either option is overwhelmingly unappealing. His thoughts are cut off by a long, shrill scream.-
Namjoon loved Taehyung. Or he loves him. Language cannot hold times like these.
