    (huh, i've never used a fanfic website that did that)

    do you not save your browser history? i usually either download longer stuff (epub reader apps are so much more convenient than the browser) or make bookmarks for the wips i'm following, but i can also open the full-page chapter index page and the browser will highlight the chapter links that i've already visited, or search the browser history if i close tabs on accident and don't even remember what fic i was reading

    if a site feature for remembering chapters is your only option, you should send the suggestion to support, i don't think they keep track of comments like this
