Comment on riding the night sky (take a chance on me)

He took his cues well, though it had only been one night; and his obedience, oh, it sent Akashi's mind soaring with possibilities.

And at this point I lost my shit because, like Akashi, I saw the possibilities.

(...it would be great to see more of these possibilities...please?)

I am also terribly amused Akashi and Kagami seem to have several mutual acquaintances. XD

    1. XD Hey hey, long time no see. Sorry I've been absent from the Kuroko fandom for so long. And the Kagami/Akashi front too.

And ahh, so many possibilities. I am thinking up more now :D The Thailand trip did wonders for the plotbunnies. Now all that remains is to write them! *evil laugh*

Welcome back! XD It's good to see you again!

Aww yisss! Speaking of trips to Thailand, a few years back my friend and I went to a train trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya to sightsee and bike around. It was great! Chang Mai was a bit too far for us to go, unfortunately.

        Comment Actions
        1. Ohh! Ayutthaya was lovely...thankfully I was there for about a week or so, so I did get to visit that place too. I'm dying to go back (ha, I can feel the plotbunnies multiplying already), maybe to Sukhothai and Pai this time.

Unfortunately work is pretty busy right now (grr), but I hope to write a sequel for this soon. The plot is literally BURNING AT ME. And the rest of the bunnies in the back are all in boxing gloves and headgear, Hajime no Ippo style, fighting for the next spot in line. Don't worry, there's plenty AkaKaga in there lol~

Yes, Ayutthaya was lovely -- we also went around via boat there as well. XD Ahhh I wanna go back to Thailand now and go to other places, as we were mostly in Bangkok.

Now I'm kinda imagining Kagami and the boys going to Bangkok and wow. The adventure! Kuroko and Akashi would probably enjoy the temples and the palaces, while Kagami and Aomine would pig out on the food.

Ack, work! Haha I'm imagining the bunnies now. XD And so much yes to more AkaKaga!

            1. ........*breathes heavily* I really don't know whether to hit you or hug you. I'm now 7000 words into a GoM + Kagami trip to Thailand. I wrote most of it at work, I may have procrastinated a bit too much and - and - and do you know how many other fics are hammering at me to be written? Yet the moment you mentioned that idea I couldn't resist...because honestly it's been in my head too ARGH. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ You're either the best mindreader or the worst enabler...okay I think I'm getting too emotional at work. ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

I'm on the last leg of the Thailand trip one, have to do some last minute searching for wat names and such. I hope to have it up...weekend, hopefully, really, hopefully...but just to tell you it's not very KagaAka/AkaKaga and more GoM + Kagami + (kinda) Takao in various formations, pairings, and...uh, kind of club-inclusive free love? I wrote it all from Kise's POV, but here's a little of it, mostly Kagami/Kuroko:

"Che', Frankenstein's immortal. Like my legend will be!" Aomine crowed

"Your legend of assholery, you mean. You keep claiming that Momoi girl isn't your girlfriend! That's messed up!"

              "That's because she isn't!"

Kagami strutted ahead - Kuroko took a picture of him glaring against the backdrop of red pillars that reached the sky and headless Buddha statues blackened by fire - and huffed, "You need to treat that girl better. She deserves better."

              "Like what, you?"

"At least I can cook! Since she can't!"

"Are you seriously thinking of leaving Tetsu!?"

"Huh? Did you think me and Kuroko are going out??" And then he thought about it. Looked at Kuroko, who was staring blank-faced back at him. Then at Aomine, who looked like he had had turned into one of those Naga-creatures that guarded the wat staircases. And then at the rest of the crew, who were alternately looking elsewhere, taking pictures of his stunned expression, or trying to stab more watermelon onto a stick.

Evidently remembering his own activities had caught up to him, because he queried Kuroko weakly, "Uh...we're going out?"

              "We're going out," Kuroko confirmed.

"Like...on dates?" Kagami asked, the last word wavering uncertainly upwards.

"Considering I don't particularly like hamburgers but keep going to Maji Burger every day with you though we're long past high school or college, just so I can watch you hork down twenty of them at a sitting, yes."

"I'm going out with you." Kagami took a seat on one of the nearby mounds of brick, eyes wide and shocked. "I...I'm going out with...I have a boyfriend? I have a boyfriend!" he shouted to the sky.

              "Congratulations," Kuroko said dryly.

Aomine's clap on his shoulder almost sent Kagami to the ground. "Well, shit, that's just awesome. Now, all you have to do is fuck him. And can we go look over there? I think that stupa's actually sinking into the ground."

"No flirting. Also, language," Akashi admonished. And for reasons Kise would never ask but probably because a) he was on vacation, and b) he could occasionally be return to being a randy teenager too, and c) he just could, Akashi stopped briefly between the two stupid lugs and reached out to both sides to pinch their asses. Aomine squawked like a chicken and Kagami bolted upright, a look of thunderous shock on his face. "It doesn't matter if we're in a foreign country, holy places should be respected."

"You just pinched my boyfriend's ass," Kuroko said murderously.

"What are you going to do about it?" Akashi countered sweetly. "After all, you're all mine."

              ------

              Uh. YEAH. Like that.

            2. OH and I totally forgot. Um. I spent a little time in Bangkok too, actually it's really similar to Taiwan so I wasn't all that surprised at it. Both have really good food...*drools*... I only went to Grand Palace and J.J. Market though. Dammit, now I miss Thailand. Here in Japan Thai mangos are 300% the price of the ones in Thailand. Talk about overpriced. *le sigh*

I lucked out on the mangoes -- it's mango season on my end but yeah -- mangoes are everywhere in Thailand. Like street snack, isn't it.

                Ahhhh the food. *sigh*

We went to nearly ALL the temples. And the Grand Palace as well (where I got slightly lost). XD We went to that huge weekend market, where a HUGE HUGE man gave me the best massage ever (lifted me clear off the ground like whoa).

                1. AUGH the fruit there is so good. Coming back to Japan I feel depressed every time I go to the supermarket's fruit section, it's horrible. Everything is overpriced and tastes of water in comparison. *sigh*

Wow...I only spent a little time in Bangkok cuz honestly, I'm not a city person (I live in a city so most vacations I like to get OUT of the city), but I guess the temples there are probably more visited and thus have more funding. Grand Palace was HUGE and so, so glittery...I got starry-eyed walking through the columns and buildings. The only detriment was the *sigh* other visitors.

Haha I didn't try the full-body Thai massage, I only had time for a foot one. I did it in Chiang Mai in a massage place all the people in my hostel were recommending and it was really nice...of course I had been walking for four days by that point so I think any massage would have been welcome. Next time...next time I'll bite the bullet and try the full body one. I heard you're kind of sore the next day?

So much FRUIT. Their mangoes are a bit different from ours -- it tastes great still though. Everything was so cheap *__*. My god, the prices. If it weren't for the fact I was afraid I'd end up exceeding the baggage allowance I would have bought SO MANY THINGS.

The Grand Palace is definitely SHINY. SO SHINY. But alas terribly many people. Other visitors. My companion was insistent on visiting much of the temples and palaces in Bangkok, so we trooped around.

I wasn't super sore after the massage, but that depends I think on how or what type you get. He was huge, but very light touch. It was great!
